Indian tv marketing has always been politically influenced n biased, favouring some shows to others, due to trps, big names or accepting money/bribery for giving extra publcity to shows as its all in the name of business and profit despite wht is said otherwise. Thats y theres lot of silly nonsense shows that do well
The other more modest reason could b becos it is new and unfamiliar to viewers, and needs morviewers to keep it running against the competition
I wisjh shows focused on telling a quality story and had more take it or leav it approach rather than bending to the race of trps as this has Proven to be destructive in teling original story with original characters. Instead tv prefers to bow down to tried and tested mthods rather then setting their own standard n rules
