Sanam is stuck in a rut. She knows the truth, but no longer has the evidence to prove it. She realizes that Aahil is unshakeable in his belief in his mother, and is very doubtful that he will believe what she has to tell him. About his childhood. About his supposed crime, due to which he is drowning in guilt and suffocating.
Tanveer appears and taunts her, daring Sanam to tell Aahil the truth, knowing full well that Aahil will never believe it.
What do you want to tell him?
That I'm pulling all stops to get this properties? That I am very willing to kill you for it??
Sanam foolishly (or cleverly foolish?) reveals all that she knows to Begum Sahiba. That she herself killed the Nawab Sr., and framed poor Aahil for it.
What happens is quite shocking. Tanveer not only acknowledges that Sanam is right, but also explains in detail her scheme to trap Aahil in her web of guilt, to use him. To get all his property and then discard him.
So heartless, her full ugliness of heart is revealed to Sanam. Further on she threatens to end Aahil's life if Sanam continues to pursue exposing her...
Meanwhile, Aahil walks towards her with Sanam, praying she will believe that he loves her with all his heart and wants to be with her...
But he is still thwarted in his attempt to meet her, by his mother again. They are all ushered up on stage for an announcement, one that Aahil wasn't anticipating. Tanveer announces on stage that the duo will sign the papers regarding the Nawab properties, and assume the role of the Nawab of Bhopal.
Aahil is shocked, and asks why so much attention for those papers here and right then, as Tanveer gloats her masterstroke. Sanam slowly walks in to the stage.
<Truthfully I thought for a moment that it was Seher walking up, blame my overactive nervous mind. LoL!>
Sanam tentatively looks around and finds the gunman aiming at Aahil. <Wow! this Billo Rani has some kickA** resources and a villainous mastermind !! If only they pay this much attention to detail to other characters too...>
But Aahil is determined not to be stopped now. He has been waylaid long enough. They have both skirted around these papers, and know that they don't want to give up on each other.
" Before we sign these papers, I need to say something to you...
I realize after signing these papers, our lives may change forever. But that doesn't mean it has to change in a way we don't want it to.
I know I told you to forget all your wishes and dreams of a life with me. A life that you saw, that you hoped for.
But I was wrong.
I want you to have all those dreams. The dreams that I saw in your eyes. Put all your hopes on me, ones that a wife places upon her husband. And I want to give you all the happiness in the world.
Because I love you Sanam. I love you..."
He tenderly cradles her cheek as Sanam cries silently. Her eyes cry out to him, that she understands and accepts. Words were never needed between them. He knew she loved him too.
" Sanam, trust me. I'll fix everything. I'll bring Ammi around about us. Just give me one chance. "
Sanam nods silently, her silent tears coursing down tell Aahil she feels as he does. He looks into her eyes with certainty and honesty, asking her to trust him.
<Pauses to cry a puddle of tears. Truly that was such a beautiful moment to see. Yes, people I'm a hopeless romantic, and KV made me cry today...>
She hands him the pen, and he holds her hand. His resolve is quite confident now. He is now prepared to fight for them to be together.
Precap: Aahil signs the papers and suddenly the lights go out (courtesy of Razia). Tanveer takes the opportunity to try and finish off Sanam, while I suspect Sunehri is in the shadows to take Sanam's place... But while Tanveer prepares her knife, someone else kidnaps Sanam.
But what will that bring other than pain to SaHil??
Will Sunehri refuse to sign? What's Sunehri's mission?
