The love plot in Shastri Sisters' thicken as Devyani keeps a karwa chauth fast for Rajat. Till now we have seen that Neel is evidently developing feelings for Devyani and Devyani has made no qualms about keeping her crush on Neel's brother Rajat a secret from her sisters.

On Karwa Chauth, Devyani joins Alka and Minty in the morning to have sargee. Her presence, noticed by Neel, makes Neel automatically assume that she is keeping a fast for Neel. Devyani reveals to Alka that she is keeping a fast for Rajat. Even when Mr. Shastri calls Devyani for breakfast, she makes an excuse and takes the plate inside her room and throws the food away.
