In India people are obsessed by the 'Saas-bahu' TV serials being featured daily on the television. Some serials are running since last so many years & people daily glue to their TV sets to watch those family dramas. One among them is 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi ' also known as "KSBKBT". In this serial one character, Tulsi's grand daughter undergoes a DNA test to ascertain about the identity of her father. Now as per a report, having seen this serial, many fathers in Gujarat are getting done the DNA testing of their children to ascertain, who is their 'real' father!!!!!!!!! How weird?

As due to suspicion in marriage, the couples are fighting for divorces, couples are also resorting to all such DNA testing to know about the paternity of the child. Each such DNA paternity test costs around Indian Rupees 18,000 ( US $ 400) but couples are ready to pay this amount also to remove suspicion in their mind. As per one doctor he gets around 8-10 inquiries every month but after the 'Kyunki Saas bhi....' episode, frequency of inquiries has increased. Ms Ekta Kapoor........are you listening?????

isnt thsi the limit.. causing broken homes and suspicion on your partner?

hmmm....... well it is not that simple ... in this report another factor is missing ..

well, what is the pattern of divorce rate.. cause there is a possibliity that these serials are infact giving awareness where a woman can prove her innocence which otherwise could be exploited by husband or in-laws..............

but I am no in favour of such soaps .. cause these are instilling quite wrong impression of society into young generation which comprises a big part of viewers ... I remember some times back my mother like to watch one soap.. where lead lady ..portraying the ideal kind of gal .. got all her babies out of wed lock.. and she got everythign .. I don't kmow how manytimes she got married .. three or four .. I don't remember ..but what kind of impression young people will get ?😊

The serials are just comedy stuff! The actors are comic, the directors are comic and the daily viewers are just comedians!!!😕😆😛

Except for weird and brainlessfellows these serials donot have impact on the normal humans:

Can any one have impact seeing the Prerana of Kasauti serail.....

Can anyone have impact seeing the acts of Jaiwalia( he sleeps with anyone unknowingly 😕🤢)

Can any one have impact seeing the acts of Armann suri(he is so brainless that he does'nt recognize hislover if removes herspectacles and change her hair style)

I think Indian men are intelligent than these dumb heroes and Indian women are not that degraded like the lead roles of the serials!!

BTW no one tries to goto a plastic surgeory after having problems in life and even if one has such type ofsurgeory how will the body structure change!!!

New tulsi of kyunki is soooooooooo comic, she is like a drama grandama in a school competition!!!

Nice topic sangeetha!!!

Infidelity existed even before these soaps. So those poor men or women shouldn't blame everything on Ekta Kapoor. There are so many channels. People can choose anything to watch but if they still choose such soaps and make give them high TRPs then own up instead of blaming the makers.
