Wonderful Review Adhira! I especially loved your witty bits you put in as commentary - Some of them resemble exactly what I was thinking.😉

Todays episode may not have been as grande as the "Hug" but nonetheless, I think it was poignant. Less words exchanged between Nandani and Manik, but the little they said was something to really ponder about, hence, your title - Change. I'll get to that in a bit though :)

Starting off with Sleeping Beauty & Princess Charming lol! How the roles have changed. 😆Loved how you noticed the metaphor - I found it extremely endearing when Nandani tried to straighten out the frown on Manik's face. I am sure, Nandani will eventually find the reason for the frown, and will help her monste..umm, Sleeping Beauty cope with it all. I await for this to happen, eagerly :) Nandu mentioning "last night", and then, she blushes, looks away and tells Manik to go home and sleep. Notice how he nods his head when she leaves - arey, this is only the beginning 😉

NH3 Meets & we notice Nandu being uncomfortable at the mention of Alya & Manik. Of course the reality is something else, but our dear Nandu is certainly affected...

Then, the FACE OFF - NH3 vs FAB5. For ME, this part was all about that ONE LOOK Manik and Nandu shared. Omg. 😳 They look, Nandu looks down and Manik follows. How cute! Their journey is going to be beautiful...na? With all the bickers, we've moved to stealing shy glances at each other...the awkwardness...Okay I actually dont miss the snarky Manik as much...

As for Raghav & Cabir - I honestly don't know whats up with R. R is older, more experience, and more attuned to the society, but this cynicism is going to be a big block, a barrier between him and Cabir. He should be there with Cabir right now, especially, when the guy have finally revealed something so important to his friend. I wanted to hug Cabir here!

I agree about Dhruv & Yellow. Nice change. But, the guy is heading for heartbreak if he continues to pay heed to Alya Nandu once again made it clear that she'll always be his friend, no matter what, but that will be just THAT. Thats all.

Notice how she "leads" the conversation with Dhruv, and then, becomes a little mouse in front of Manik. Thats the difference. Dhruv is calm, nice, and brings in the normalcy in Nandu's life, but Manik gives her the excitement, adventure, passion, and perhaps, eventually, passionate love. I am sure they'll become friends before that happens, and then, we have "trust" - something both Nandu and Manik believe love is all about.

Before I end up making this a post itself - Let me just point out to something that was the climax for me for this episode. Nandu explaining what Change is. It doesn't refer to Cabir's homosexuality, but it also refers to the change in MaNan's relationship, change in their feelings, and change in how they look at each other...it is something that will shock them, something they'll DENY...but once, they UNDERSTAND what they share, their feelings, it'll be fine. Just fine.

As for that hug - it was no Mistake Monster Manik :P Take that back. Reminded me of when Nandu said the storeroom fiasco was "terrible". Ohh how I love these two :)

Dhruv was only reading it a few weeks back and here we are our leads applying it to their lives 😉😆. I think we are going to get more of those "Okays"...

More a recap, less a review, ok lets just call it social commentary😆

Today's episode started where yesterday's ended, Nandu gazing at her "sleeping beauty".

Manik is fast asleep and get a piece of waste paper on his cheek courtesy the sweeping of the sweeper and the momentous breeze that awaits all young lovers😆 lol did u just call Manik sleeping beauty 😆 I am not going to argue on that he was looking very cute there and his mouth was also slightly opened.

I loved how Nandini after removing the piece of paper, tries to straighten out the wrinked expression on Manik's face. I love looking at metaphors and this action kind of signifies to me, the influence Nandini wll have in Manik's life, straightening out the wrinkles in his life. Our dishevelled Manik wakes up, just like in "Sleeping Beauty" and sees his ermm...Princess Charming. Manik proceeds to tell Nandi that he was partying all night😕 and came straight from partying to meet her. Nandu like the good Professor Nandu she is sends him packing to bed😆 No Dhruv-Rishabh follow-up today. i knew that this Dhruv-Rishabh talk is not going to happen any time soon, both of them just want some bahanas to meet each other.. But i really liked the how she wanted to smooth out his wrinkles like she wanted to get rid of all his problems and the way she was looking at him was really sweet

Navya is talking to Nandu and is clearly affected by Mukti's words and does not want to follow her Harshadji's orders to follow Mukti around(Hallelujah, Praise the Lord). Nandu agrees and Harshad arrives. Meanwhile the Nh3 ke unwanted 4th member Shahid comes in excitedly to tell everyone that Dhruv and Alya are in love which is promptly shot down by Harshad with an emphatic " Alya will always be in love with Manik!" dialogue, why do I think that this emphasis is brought in to prove everyone wrong. Nandini is clearly not comfortable when that is mentioned, telling that she shows signs of uncomfortableness when Alya is linked with Manik. I really want that Manik tells everyone that he and Alya broke up, its been a while now and more secrets keep adding up.

Nh3 and Fab5 are gathered in a room, Manik and Nandini exchange shy glances, Manik was actually shy😲. The attendant informs them that Raghav is not in college and has asked both groups to practice all day and he will come in to hear them later in the day.Cabir is noticeably upset.Dhruv looks at Nandini with lovelorn glances. Dhruv is looking good in yellow,I am glad they changed his wardrobe.

Cabir calls Raghav and apparently has been calling Raghav who has not been receiving his calls. While I do understand that Raghav is cynical about society, this is no way to treat your young partner Man up, if you are brave enough to fall in love, atleast be there for your partner as he struggles to come to terms with his homosexuality and the consequences of coming out gay. Cabir's voice message left me quite sad. Its sad to see Cabir like this, just now he accepted he is gay and I really wanted to see Raghav supporting him.

Dhruv is playing his guitar when Alya comes in and encourages him to tell Nandini and that they will accept her if he makes her his girlfriend. I hope she offers Manik the same courtesy, when Manik and Nandini get together, however hard it might be. After all they were friends first.

Nandini walking through the corridor and Dhruv calls out to her get her attention. Dhruv asks Nandini if friendship can ever change.Nandini assures Dhruv he will always be her friend and that friendship can never change which kind of was not the answer he was looking for. One thing i noticed is that Nandu this time she didn't said Hi to Dhruv first she didn't even notice him, Dhruv really needs to be more opened up.

Harshad, Navya and Shahid are waiting for Nandini and Shahid is exclaiming over some hot musicians. Navya, still cut to the quick by Mukti's brashness doesnt think that musicians need to dress like hot and that talent is all that matters. She looks to her Harshadji for assurance and gets none there when he tells her both are equally important. She of course goes back into her Harshadji worship with "extreme makeover" lighting up in her mind(All my prayers and taking the Lord's name in vain) I don't even want to imagine Navya doing this, she is going to act stupid and i don't want to see the same old people making fun of her and then Harshad saving her and then she again starts with her Harshadji thing.

Nandini is filling her water bottle, when Manik comes from behind in a red cardigan and a pompadour hairstyle that would put the Himalayas to shame. Nandini spills water on herself, she is acutely aware of Manik as he is of her. The Sleeping Beauty who after sufficient amount of beauty sleep has transformed himself into a shiny new version of Monster Manik orders her to follow him and meet him behind the music block. I love that they have their own place in college to talk peacefully 😆 and he orders her around like its his right

Manik and Nandini are extremely awkward around each other, Manik tells Nandini that he wasn't partying all night and was shocked by certain revelations and he doesnt understand why he landed up at her place. "Last night was a mistake" he says, to which Nandu noticeably winces and she says Ok, which kind of infuriates Manik who expected her to say it wasn't😆. Its like Manik wanted her to say something that contradicted what he had said.

This was the significant part for me where MaNan was concerned.Nandini tells him new changes, new emotions, it takes time to process and understand but once one does, everything will be fine and while this was said in context of Cabir's revelation, it also holds very true for Manik's feelings for Nandini. To which Manik, says Ok😆 and then proceeds to do his Nandini duty of the day, he wipes her smudged kajal and her wet face and lo and behold, we have a bright and sparkling clean Nandini courtesy Manik😆 I loved Nandu's advice she is so smart she understands every emotion so maturely, the new changes thing was so naturalistic i felt and it applied to everyone be it FAB5 or NH3.

Precap:Manik asking Cabir who his partner is, Raghav gets a surprise party courtesy Cabir, Raghav and Cabir about to kiss, like in promo, I guess Manik catches them, he is wearing the same outfit from the promo.

And thats it folks, not a review, not a recap, just a social commentary...whew...
