the AkDha scene was done in an okay scenario I think... this is not an everyday modern domestic set up. This is the emperor in some discomfort and his queen for the first time sees that she is needed and decides her priorities. Son will have to wait, husband is not coping with something...and if he can't cope...everybody will be in trouble.
