Neelima is back to serials after a 2 year break, hence she has the time to take up a lead role and do justice to it. Maha on the other hand is already a staple in several ongoing shows, it will be trying on her to take on a lead role at this point of time. Also, our typical female serial leads are way too straight to be interesting. By taking on character roles Maha has the scope to perform to prove her acting skills.
