part 1Wedding Day
Today is the wedding day of Maan and Geet ... they belong to medial class families... for geet its typical arrange marriage... her parents have seen Maan in their relatives marriage function ... they like the boy and enquire about him and when Maan's mother ask for geet's hand for her son Maan... they got agree for the alliance ... they introduce both maan and geet in the same wedding...let them talk for sometime...
For geet this was like giving interview... maan just ask her basic question like - her name , her qualification , about her cooking skills...at last he ask "you want arrange marriage or love marriage ?"... geet being the shy girl give one word answer ... Maan tell her about himself and that it... their parents come there to ask their decision ... Maan say yes and geet just nod her head...
next day Maan and his parents went to geet's home to fix the marriage date... they fix the date of marriage which was after one month ... during the time between the wedding geet had thought that they will have precious time like any other couple ... they will call each other during nights ... maan will take her out on date... geet dreamed about all the things which she had seen in serials ...but nothing like this happened... Maan never ask her phone no... he never come to her house after the day their marriage got fixed...
when ever geet's phone will ring her bhabhi will pass her teasing smile and her family members will try to go from there to give her privacy... geet never tell them that these call were from her friends not from maan... As she thought may be he don't get time or may be he don't like all these things...
In 2 meetings geet had observe his nature... he look like a serious type of person... when ever geet will feel low she will keep on reminding herself that late night calls and things shown by TV serials doesn't go with his nature... As the wedding is only after one month all are busy in preparations this also make her ignore the phone call thing...
For Maan this arrange marriage is like selecting the girl in wedding and then telling your cousin and showing her girl you like and that it all work is done... cousin will show the girl to your parents then make them meet girl's parent... Maan knew his mother want to get him married and she will not leave any chance to get her only son married ...
they call him and introduce him to beautiful girl with whom he fall in love in first side itself...they send them to talk to each other... both of them remain silent for some seconds then maan start asking question ... he didn't know what to say...
he wanted to tell her how beautiful she is,but being serious in nature Maan stop himself thinking geet will think him as some flirty boy who like to praise girls... asking phone no. never come in his mind... On second meeting he wanted to ask but stop himself thinking her parents will mind it and this will cause bad impression...Their wedding was after 1 month... all the marriage preparations were on and being the only son he need to do most of the things himself... As he is work alcoholic ... all the office work also keep him busy... he don't have any time to think about geet...
Back to Wedding day
Geet is getting ready in her room her friends are helping her and teasing her while makeup girl is doing her make up... throwout the teasing geet is blushing helplessly ...they hear the sounds of band baaja... her friends come outside to see the baraat...geet family welcome Maan and his family with all rituals...
they make maan and geet sit on mandap and actual wedding starts... after the completion of phere... maan and geet take blesses from elders and geets parents did her bidaai...
At Maan's home
Maan's mother with her relatives did maaneet's graha pravesh and other post wedding rituals...Maan's mother send girls to take geet to Maan's room which will be from now on her room...
