Hi Sush,

Great to see you all here. I suppose we need to thank Gul for it. Hope she doesnt disappoint.

Im loving the show, especially Aarzoos character. Must admit, i didnt think too great of her in the beginning, but now her character and specially her smile has bowled me over. And shes smart too. Thats definitely a plus. Her Jaadu scene was fun.

Sahir and his hairy look, well... maybe we'll get some good FBs of a cute HC and thats why we have this lean mean look. Of course we need a terrible guy so that the FL can work on him.

Must say Im kind of glad there was no 'love at first sight' or eyelocks or attraction or what not between the leads. It makes the waiting all the better.

Now the irritating thing is the '4 episodes a week'. Yaar, the gap is too long. Good or bad, we need continuity.

Love to read your reviews and hoping HS will be what we hope it will.

sush...plzzz don't stop writing

i agree with u...as u say that the pool scene was left incomplete...neither ofthetwo realised who it actually was...but then these incomplete hits n misses by SaAz is whats making this couple different from the lot...

i haven't watched a single gul show...and for me...the makers have done a very good job a far as the characterisation of sahir is concerned...be it his music...his overall presentation on screen...(yes...i'm more biased towards him...but then u can't blame me esp after the pool sceneπŸ˜‰)

coming back to the epi...
sahir eating the imarti and sheer korma is like an extension to what he is

a person who eats burnt toast is not necessarily that burnt and charred from inside...i would like to assume that given a chance...he would definitely welcome some sweetness in his life...😊

Hey Mallika...Good to see you here! πŸ˜ƒ
Yes...4 days a week seems so little...but compared to western shows that air once per week...it is still a good amount. As much as I miss the quantity...it may be a good thing for everyone in the long run...the producers, the director, the actors, the crew members and the viewers...5 days a week is too much to be producing a quality show daily...plus hopefully it will save the fans from themselves...from obsessing too much...that isπŸ˜†

Yes...good that it is not love at first sight...I am all for the build up...

That's a lovely way to look at it Vandy πŸ‘!!! Philosophical and truly catching the spirit of the character...!!

Waise...I didn't mean to say that people who like burnt toast can not like sweets...yes...we do (if I dare put myself put in the category of the revered and the enchanting one...πŸ˜†)... Just that Imarati is just so overly sugary and overly sweet...I had a tough time accepting that one...

I have a sweet tooth...a very very sweet one...and imarti and jalebi both r my favsπŸ˜ƒ

and though i don't eat toast as burnt as sahir's...my toast will definitely count as a burnt toast on any chef's platter...so rare combinations are not that rare!🀣

The first thing that flashed on my mind was the striking similarities of the FL's character and family background with the famous Pakistani serial..Zindagi Gulzar Hai...I mean even the way she has been clothed has vivid resemblance. The father abandoning the first wife and his three daughters
in pursuit of a male heir , the FL hating her father to infinity, the FL's step mother who thinks her husband's life has changed for the better just because of her ...I think in the coming episodes we will see a stupid dumb step-brother to the FL...I guess Gul has been heavily inspired by ZGH.

But everything said and done...i'm loving the ML and the FL..this is the first time i am watching Harshad so i'm loving his stint. The brooding looks suit him. Shivya is doing a decent job i guess.

I have only watched a couple of episodes of ZGH...so I may be wrong...but what is similar is the back drop...about a man leaving his wife and girls and the girl growing up with a feeling to want to prove herself...and take care of her mom and siblings...without help...

But Aarzoos character seems to be different...it looks like she is more social, not really as angry with the world...and funny...she has a cuteness about her...and more color...I like her...although that is not to take away anything from kashafs character...who I am sure was enjoyable too...for so many people to like that show so much including my mom...πŸ˜ƒ

Kashaf''s sketch did change gradually towards the end. But ya i do agree ...Aarzoo is fun loving, social and more pretty. And there definitely is a good chemistry between the lead pair.
