Doesn't matter if FFF is flop or not. I'm glad that DP took this risk. Its all about reinventing yourself. Otherwise sooner or later people will forget you. One or two flops doesnt matter much

Reminds me of people holding Talaash against Aamir/Kareena when it was a semi-hit and Go Goa Gone against Saif. Films like these and Lootera, FF, its just enough that they get made and appreciated. As long as they recover their cost I see no reason why their success parties should be mocked, maybe they want to celebrate the films for their content and would do so regardless of its outcome.

To people who are saying at least it got critical acclaim:

The industry endorsed Finding Fanny a big way but public totally rejected it so is this the reason why nearly all films flop as industry have totally different tastes compared to the audience.

Ans. Its not as if all the industry endorsed some will and some won't and even the ones who do its probably not about the film but about relationships with people involved in the film. Its easy to tell when praise is genuine as that film may not be a hit but will have some sort sustainment at the box office, when a film crashes like Finding Fanny it looks a case of trying to give it a push over the weekend and it worked to a certain extent but eventually word of mouth tells all.

Public? I am a public too. I am not rejected it. I LOVE IT SO MUCH. AT Busan, we love that movie so much.

I don't know how Indian rated their movie. Example, BOI changed their rated many times, if they like the actor and movie, they rated it higher, if not, they will rated it lower. Then changed it when they like it again. KOIMOI too. This example rating website will ruin film industry at India. what kind of judges like that .Shame!
