Well all miss the young cast very dearly after watching the leap episode today. However, I am really confused, according to the Indian custom in the 1800's only the first wife were called maharani. Even in their absence no one could gain the title of Maharani due to the fact that only first wives had the legal right to be a Maharani. So how come Dheerbai was called Maharani, it just doesn't make sense. It against the rules of the rajput. Somebody care to explain?

No only the women who were Maharajas Fav wives or a wife were the ones with most of the powers after Maharaja so here in the show Dheerbai is fav of Uday Singh and also Pratap also gives her alot of respect after Jaiwanta so its obvious she will handle things who else will do than
