If cvs could not bring subbu then there was no need of mani either...
Actually ishra hv lot of progress in their relationship...they used to hate each other.. Now they care so much...
If they can progress so much... obviously they don't need a third person to realise their love...
Mani track just a useless track..
Just few lines on subbu n ishita relationship made more impact then this whole track n mani...

N best friend like mani who disappeared wen she was in trouble..n has come now to create problem wen she is happy with a daughter like ruhi, husband like raman n so supportive in laws... Which actually she never expected in her life.

Subbu's name was enough earlier to make Raman jealous, forced Mani wasn't needed. Even Subbu's presence wasn't needed at this stage either. IshRa both are mature adults and before this Mani track their relationship was progressing at a beautiful pace. Yes, it was slow at times but the scorching spark was always there. Ishita already had realized her love for Raman. That's why when Mani mentioned Subbu's name from time to time in their conversation, it didn't affect Ishita a bit. She didn't even feel awkwardness for a second. An interesting part arose when Mani questioned her choice of Subbu and Raman, she was silently acknowledging that she wasn't meant for Subbu. But when Mani did the same for Raman, she shot back instantly. It was interesting to see that a 12 years of bf-gf relationship with full of love was completely washed away by a 8 months old contract marriage! This was the hint of a beginning of a "true love" which was not initiated by a third party, rather IshRa built it on their own. As people say, love will find its own way, it shouldn't be pushed by a third wheel. As far as Raman is concerned, he needed some advices which could've been done using Bala. He's perfect for this role, he knows Ishita better than anyone and currently he shares a very good rapport with Raman as well.

Subbu, and what he did wasn't NEEDED in this story either. See...this is a made up story. It isn't real. Characters aren't always added coz they are NEEDED. Characters are added to a story to add another dimension to the story in at the very least a MILDLY PLAUSABLE way...

eg... subbu could have died instead of dump ishu. Or it could have been shown that ishita wasn't getting any marriage proposals coz of her infertility. These are scenarios are PLAUSABLE. Subbu not NEEDED.

Now...

Mani is not needed...but he IS plausable.😆 He ummm...in a non sci fi story, mani hasn't been shown to be an alien that came down in a spaceship and has a sinister plan to use ishita for the purpose of world domination.😆

As for how raman's jealousy over subbu scene looked compared to over mani...both had their good points!!

My point this is a story of Mohabbatein...notice the word...it is plural. Not singular. It has and probably will show many different loves and different love stories (ruhi/ishita, mi-mi, mani-ishita friendship). Not just ishra because the are the lead.
