No. She shouldn't cry. No. She shouldn't feel this pain but it hurts her. Hurts every being of her. She hadn't spent years being his love but she was haunted by his and her memories everywhere. She lowered her head and avoided her surroundings. They reminded her of him and his rememberance only brought pain for her now. Its still fresh and wounded exposed to air making her be numb yet feel the pain. She walked into her coaching classes after more than a week devastated and heartbroken in home. She sighed in relief as the AC coolness touched her skin. This was the only place he hadn't come. He never came inside the coaching class even before but waited for her outside.
Would he come? Would he know that I joined back the classes?
The thought itself made her shiver.
No. He shouldn't come. Not now. Never into her life again.
As if her thoughts attracted a negative vibe, her mobile vibrated in the hand as she sat down in her seat. Reyaansh Singhania. She cut the call and a message beeped. Would you pick up the call? Or do you want me to get in?. She shivered again with fear. She know he wouldn't come in because she has warned him prior whats happening but she would face him sooner or later and she didn't want to. She instantly switched off the mobile and kept it her pocket.
Nothing went into her head thought she was practically present in the classes.
What if he comes?
He watched her from far as she walked out. It felt so good seeing her. He wanted to take her in his arms. Cup and kiss her face. Hug her tightly nuzzling into her neck inhaling her smell like he always did.
She didn't look up. She was thinking and moving every step forward. She stopped and was unsure too but then she pushed herself and continued walking again.
He followed her from behind after it was a good distance. He wouldn't hint her now. He just gave a sign to his friend to drive after sometime and pick him up. He walked behind her slowly watching her. She turned around as if she sensed a presence. He was thankful to the trees and cars of the street.
It was followed by the dark street as Kriya called it because lights hardly work in the street and very few people take the courage to walk past it. He remembered how Kriya used to mutter curses on the case and then how eventually they loved walking through it with his hand gently tugging hers. He smiled as memories rushed by.
Thats when he got alerted. This was the last street left for Kriya's home. How can you be so ignorant Rey?, he mentally slapped himself. It would take another 23 hours for him to see her if he missed this chance.
He rushed his steps and he did notice that she heard his footsteps. The street was dead silent as if no one ever lived there. She knew it. It was him and she increased her speed.
'Kriya...ruko', he gathered the courage to voice. She stopped for a second but continued walking the very next. She had a thing for his voice. She loved it. Understanding her intentions, he ran to her without giving her a chance to escape and pulled her into a corner which had lights.
She fought against his grip on her arm without looking up. He pulled her closer glancing her. It felt like ages since he felt her this close.
'Kriya..let go', he whispered . 'I can't', she yelled glaring up at him. 'Kriya..you don't know..', he tried explaining and she cutted him off with,'I don't want to know too'.
'Will you please listen to me once?', he raised his voice too. 'No', she replied adamantly. She pushed him away and tried to go. He pulled her by the shoulder, crushing her against the wall he kissed her melting his lips don on hers cupping her face. Her lips were for his delight. He nipped and bit her tender lips kissing her passionately though she didn't return the fervor. Her right hand was locked with his and she couldn't gather enough strength to push him off. He broke the kiss and moved back with their faces still closer. His eyes were a shade darker. 'Leave me', she requested trying to free her hand. Her voice barely audible to her. He nodded in negation slightly. 'Rey, I said leave me', she voiced louder and fought against with determination. She almost made free but he tried locking it again when she pushed his hand away harshly and slapped him as a natural reaction.
His eyes and face had hurt clearly written on the face. His anger swelled through him. 'Only you can do this', he yelled and it somehow made an impact on her. 'That time and again now', he remarked looking at her.
She couldn't move. She was immobilized. She did it again.
Slap, which made him avenge her and make her fall in love due to his drunken up challenge and the only reason for the present situation.
She didn't notice that her eyes welled up with tears and one rolled down the cheek. She quickly wiped it away.
She wanted everything to be real. She wanted to be loved by him.
'Stop scaring her', Steffy warned. He just stopped by because of their yells and commotions. Steffy. His bestfriend and her brother like person who cared for her.
'Its all because of you', Rey shouted on a high pitch tone pointing out at Steffy and it made his best friend guilty too.
'I didn't mean to do it', he said with a sad tone that Kriya didn't expect him to.
'Take her away', Rey yelled again. 'Take her away before I do anything', he warned and Kriya walked past both of them into the dark and Steffy followed her.
Rey leaned back onto the wall. His eyes were moist. He loved her. Though it was for that drunken challenge that made him speak to her, meet her. He fell in love. He fell in love with this girl who yearned for love and loved him unconditionally.
