Today was the desolate silence after the typhoon had hit and taken everything in its wake. The destruction of it was left in the hearts of Jodha & Jalal. These two broken hearts had the numbness that left them feeling empty.
Episode started from yesterday when Jodha poured out her agony to Kanha. She told Kanha she no longer wanted to look into his eyes and closed the curtain to the Temple. It was such poignant dialogue cos when we look at God we look into his/her eyes. We want those eyes to convey what reassurance we want the benevolence, the love, the smile, the anger when we are feeling guilty about something.
Jodha finally accepts and cries her heart out. Hearing Hussain crying she ran without any awareness of anything except the cry of her child. Jodha took crying Hussain in her arms, much to annoyance of Ruk. This woman has no shred of decency left. It took a SB to stop her from snatching Hussain from Jodha's arms right away. After feeding Hussain this is exactly what Ruk did! She snatched Hussain away from Jodha's arms with a gleeful smile.
Jalal broken hearted after burying his Hassan cried his heart out in privacy. The agonized father who could not show his emotions openly. HB went to Jalal and asked him to let his feelings out with his mother. Jalal did but he also told her he has to remain strong for Jodha cos if he cried in front of Jodha - she will shatter ever more. HB told Jalal how Jodha ran to Hussain and for just the time she had Hussain in her arms she did not remember anything else.
Begums in haram cautioned Ruk against Jodha and reminded her that now she had the waris and her way to MUZ. As if Ruk needed any reminders!!!
Jalal went to meet Ruk and asked her if she considers him her friend and if she does then he wants to ask something from her. Jalal wanted to take Hussain to Jodha so that she can forget her pain for sometime. Ruk refused and told him this short time will turn into weeks, months - she will not part with Hussain.
Jalal reminded Ruk that to bring happiness to her empty life, to give meaning to her dreams Jodha had given her Hussain, now this very same Jodha's dreams lay shattered and he wanted Ruk to do this for Jodha.
Jalal begged to Ruk saying Shehenshah is begging before her - Ruk still refused saying even if Shehenshah of 3 jahan begged before her she will still refuse. A desolate Jalal walked away.
I want to say I felt NO SYMPATHY for Ruk. She does not want Hussain for any maternal feelings - she wanted MUZ and Ruk now thinks destiny is so much for her, she has been handed what she wanted on a platter.
If Ruk had asked for the sultanate to be handed to her Jalal would have gladly done that. To a person who only knows to manipulate and cheat - simplicity and compassion do not mean anything.
Jodha refused to eat anything, wanted to sit in darkness.
The most beautiful scene of the episode was when Jodha was sitting blankly next morning. She had the blankness of total grief where this blankness was her solace. Jalal walked in and he filled her mang with sindoor saying - she does not want to wear any jewelry but for his sake she has to wear the sindoor. When Jalal filled Jodha's mang and they shared the eyelock that had the meaning of millions of unspoken words. Jalal told Jodha he can't pass a day without looking at her face. It was the most poignant scene just the two of them coping with this loss.
Bharmal and Dadisa came to bless the babies and Jalal told them what had happened.
Precap - Ruk snatches Hussain from Dadisa's arms with viciousness as shocked Dadisa looks on and Jalal just gives Ruk look.
Today again Paridhi & Rajat were magnificent - they are living this track and I simply don't care about Ruk. Cos her Karma is going to give her such a kick.
