I just remembered something weird...

Aahil's diary read : I hear Abbu and New Ammi fighting all the time. Everytime I try to get close to New Ammi, Abbu locks me up in the store room and beats me. Leaves me there overnight, forgetting I was in there. I don't know which was worse, my hunger, or fear of Abbu...

WHy would the father beat Aahil because he was trying to be close to Tanveer?

Weird...

He wasn't even naughty. He was trying to be an accomodating child...

But maybe Nawaab sahab already knew Tanveer's nature and wanted to keep his kids away from her..?
