I saw an entertainment based programe during the time when II3 was in its early audition stages. For the life in me, I can't remember what programe it was to be exact? However, I do remember a part of the show which delth with why previous Indian Idol 1 & 2 winners never make it big in the Bollywood music scene. Many people involved with Indian Idol were interviewed, but to my own surprise, Anu Malick's response was perhaps the most politically correct as to why the previous two Indian Idol winners have yet to record a song for a Bollywood album. SIMPLY, none of the previous winners have 'marketed' themselves properly to win the public over and thus have Bollywood music directors ringing them up, one can't expect a person to win an Indian Idol competition and sit back relaxed hoping that Bollywood will come knocking. One has to continue to market their presence and showcase their credential's to win real heart's over. (I BELIEVE THIS TO BE VERY TRUE)
Koi shak?
