possibility that Karan liked Amrita in the past?

I know there have never been hints of Karan liking Amrita in the past... but I feel that maybe he did.

Why else would Karan just leave Avi & go. There is more to what meets the eye. It surely can't be merely because Amrita's a nurse & that Avi was going against his mum. Also its not possible that Karan disliked Amrita, because ever since he came back, he seemed normal & cordial with her. Amrita is & was the same as before in terms of nature. So if he disliked her back then why does he respect & appreciate her now? Clearly, Karan never disliked Amrita, be it in the past & now.

So what do you guys think? Is there a possibility that Karan liked Amrita in the past or is there some other theory? Or is it just as simple as what Karan stated in his conversation with Avi.

The story is so fresh, yet, so many things happened, I simply loveee this story and this show.👏

Yes, Karan spoke disparagingly of Amrita and nurses etc but perhaps it was just to hide his feelings. He didn't even stay for the wedding, so yeah, maybe...
