Chapter 1

The time has come,thought Pragya."I can't take this false relation anymore.Please God help me to be strong enough to disclose the truth about my relation with Abhi to everyone".She prayed earnestly.The door creaked open. Abhi entered."What are you doing?your Daadi has come and asking for you".He huffed."With whom am I living.My life has turned topsy turvy because of you.I feel like 'joru ka gulam'.When are you leaving anyway?" He asked casually as he knew Pragya would say nothing. But Pragya looked at him and replied."Today". For a moment Abhi couldn't believe his ears.

He absored the news then gave a big smile. Pragya lowered her gaze.Abhi came and stood in front of her,"From when have you become so good Chashmish?By the way your youngest sister's marriage is within 1 month hope you did not forget that.Don't think I am trying to stop you or worried about your sister's reputation.Already Bulbul has tainted your family's reputation.I am just worried about my Daadi and..." Before he could say further Pragya replied curtly,"Your Daadi is strong enough to digest this news.She was strong when Purab left Aliya on the marriage altar.Then what is going to happen now?" Abhi was tongue tied.He composed himself immediately and said,"So what are we waiting for". Pragya nodded and they were about to leave when Abhi said,"Wait". She stopped on her way.Her heart skipped a beat.Will he stop me?,she thought.She turned towards him.He asked,"What will you tell Daadi?What is the reason of your sudden decision?Hope you don't have anything up your sleeves".Abhi looked at her askance.She glared but refused to reply."What?Say".Abhi asked again.

"Because I am in love with you and you just hate me".She din't say this because she knew that for Abhi this was a fake marriage he loved Tanu and as the days passed she couldn't bear to see them together.She feared that some day she might show her true feelings.She din't want that.Stooping in front of Abhi-the rockstar,showing her weakness for him was the last thing in the world which she wanted to show.Her fists clenched as she saw Abhi waiting expectantly for her answer.

"I have my own reasons.As a matter of fact my decisions shouldn't bother you as I am doing this for my sake and this is what you wanted right?to get rid of me?So before you torture me and humiliate me further, I am walking away from your life.Moreover, I am not a trickster".She gave a sardonic smile and before Abhi could say anymore she left the room.Abhi looked on,dumbfounded.He too slowly followed her downstairs.
