yes, u r rite, he did neglected his duties & thats history, actually all of u ppl now forgetting that this is the real thingy, PRC wasnt like shown b4 on this show. so u shud b thinking the storyline b4 this was not according to history, & PRC as one human , king, ruler may hv some weaknesses also.

this is all kind of funny because

prithviraj chauhan was not as glorious as they are showing on screen.. infact they are in a dilemma because they want to try sticking to the original story but the original PRC was not as great a king as he is made out to be .. his story remains on because of chand bardai's raso.. which was a glorified version of his friend/king's life...(and even if they had taken the story true to the raso... trust me you gals wouldnt have liked the PRC you would be seeing on screen one bit)

history states that prithviraj infact... waged wars and caused the life/treasury of ajmer to become weak just because he wanted to get hold of this princess or that princess ... and yes sanyogita was his weakness ....

i was seeing this serial as a fairytale.. this ideal and perfect PRC that we were seeing on screen was a totally different PRC for me.. so i wish either they stuck the original PRC for me.. or they continued with this ideal PRC. wish they didnt see saw between the two as it makes it difficult to identify between the two...

agreed yaar, I really wanna see the REAL story, not the lover boy one.

ok maybe the PRC they had been showing in the serial until a few weeks ago was the glorified version..then lyk lashy di said, they shud have just stuck to that. they are trying to show two different versions of him and its just not working becuz they portrayed prithvi as being almost perfect until this whole misunderstanding began..and now all of a sudden, we are seeing him act lyk a completely new person...either they shud have not shown this side of him at all and just stuck to the glorified version, or they shud have shown the change in his personality in a more gradual and natural fashion..not lyk one day hes this dutiful king and the next day hes this lovesick majnu! the viewers just didnt get time to accept this new avatar of prithvi..and frankly speaking i dun want to accept it..i dun lyk it!!
