Im confused!! soni and gautam

what exactly happened? I know soni said a bad word gautam became himself as usual and went crazy but what was going on? I saw the link but i didnt get the task or what so ever! can somebody please explain the scenario by not being bias towards any of the two and just say what really was going on and what is suppose to go on! thanks

no sure , but it seems like they both are holding something which belongs to sonali .. why i cannot understand . :S

It's a task.
There are 2 families, Lamba family and Babbar family.
Sonali is the daughter of Babbar family and Upen is the son of Lamba family.
Both Sonali and Upen are supposed to be in love.
Lamba family need to unite the lovers and the babbar family need to separate them.

That's all I could understand from the precap. I have no idea what happened between Gautam and Soni .

I am actually looking forward to this task, something different from other seasons.
