Hello everyone.
I am back with the second part of this shot. I am sorry for posting it a tad bit late. I hope you like it.
Waiting for ur feedback as usual.
Love you all🤗Love: A Crazy Little Thing!
- I think you really need a doctor. You fell on your head and are rambling...
- I am not rambling Raman. YOU are the one who were rambling in your sleep yesterday.
He looked at her, baffled!
*Flashback*
Back in the room, the previous night, sleep had evaded Ishita. Her attention was drawn to the bed. Raman was turning and tossing in his sleep. She could also hear some strange sounds. Drawing closer, she realized he was restlessly blabbering in his sleep.
Mani...You bloody naagmani... everybody loves you... I hate you...Stay away from my wife...she is mine...Ishita...don't be upset...don't leave...I am not...perfect like...Mani... par jaissa bhi houn tumhara houn...
She finally understood. Why didn't she fathom the reason behind his bizarre behaviour earlier?
Raman was jealous and was feeling insecure with Mani around her. That would explain how he had grabbed her hand tight while performing the aarti at her amma's place?...That would explain his bad mood and excessive taunting these past two days...that would explain why he gulped the rassam and researched about Golu...
Didn't Romi say that he was the jealous type? The one who was all possessive about people he cares and loves.
Her eyes watered.
That he was afraid to lose her? That he was craving for her attention? Could it be that he loved her? Ishita felt her heat missed a beat. Raman was not a man who would word his feelings easily but his eyes would always let him down. Ishita had read them...She would make sure he poured his feelings out. Ishita promised herself.
*End of Flashback*
An embarrassed Raman only stuttered:
- I...I have no idea what you are talking about Ishita. I...I'll get you some pain killers...
Taking a deep breath and mentally praying to Murugan to give her strength, she again held his hand putting a halt to his attempt to move away from her.
- I told you. I don't need any pain killer.
She looked at him with her heart in her eyes to see. Today she would make sure that he knew what place he held in her life and heart. In her soft voice she asked him:
- Aap jaan na chahete the na mein Mihika se kya keh rahi thi the other night on the terrace?
He stood motionless and looked at her, his eyes scrutinizing her face. Respect and love unfolding manifold for her. She was so brave! He knew how she felt for him. He had heard her the other day when she was at the balcony. His heart had done a flip flop and leapt on that night. . He felt the same thing about her. He had long time realized that he was falling deeply in love with her with each passing day. If he wanted he could have coerced her to say it on that night itself. He had got ample opportunities to do so but he chose to postpone it.
He had loved once, giving away every piece of his heart unconditionally. He thought he would never ever feel it beat again but love has found a way again. His heart had got a reason to beat. He found himself again at a crossroad where he would have to choose. Was he ready to place his mending and loving heart in her hand?
He had developed the skill to hide his true self so expertly. He was the ruthless Raman Kumar Bhalla to the world but a sneak peak in his heart would reveal another story. He was the type of man who would love without reserve and which finally would end consuming him. He was the most VULNERABLE between them. He was the one who was AFRAID. This was why despite being already hooked, line and sinker; he would never admit his feelings and would rather hide behind those garbs and taunts.
- Why do you want to tell me? I don't want to...
He was walking away. Ishita sighed heavily. It would not be easy to start a conversation with this man but it was...not impossible. Her next question froze him.
- You heard it right Raman? That's why you are running away. Like you always do when you feel cornered, when you feel trapped...You are such a coward...
Raman turned around to give her a stern look. Infuriated, he stormed towards her. Her head pinned on the bed rest, his face only inches away from hers, Ishita felt breathless. He was closing in dangerously and when he grabbed her wrist, Ishita squirmed.
He seethed with anger:
- What is your problem? Do you think I am in the mood to listen to your lecture? Give me a break you loony woman! Agar mein itna hi bura aur imperfect houn, mere piche kyun pare ho. Mujhe chod ke kyun nahin jaati?
Ishita only replied back soothingly:
- Aap hi jawaab de do na Raman. Mein to akal se paidal houn. You are the smart one here. Tell me na Raman. Agar aap itne bure ho, to mein aap ke saat kyun houn ?
Exhausted and stunned he loosened his grip on her and turned away. But an unfazed Ishita, stood up weakly and continued, forcing him to look at her.
- Let me tell you why. Kyunke aap jaisse bhi ho... aap mere ho Raman. Aap acche kab lagne lage, mujhe pata hi nahin chala. Kab Ruhi ke papa se mere husband ho gaye yeh bhi realize nahin hua... Kab aap ko pasand karne lagey yeh bhi...
A pin drop silence descended upon them. She had finally confessed her feelings for him to none other but to him in person.
They stood holding each others gaze for several minutes. Finally...his eyes glistening with unshed tears, he walked out of the room without a word. With a lone drop of tear stinging the corner of her eye, Ishita looked at his retreating figure.
Hours later Ishita heard him when he came in the room and he had immediately crawled into the bed. Minutes later Ishita could hear his even breathing. He was already fast asleep. When she snuck a glance at his side, her heart seemed ready to expand with love in her chest cavity. He was hugging Ruhi tight.
She knew that the implications of the moment had hit him hard. She had no doubt about his feelings for her. Yes he loved her but he also needed time to come around. After all it was not easy when life had ditched you so mercilessly...
"I will wait for you Raman. I will wait for that rainy day in our life Raman when you will pour out your feelings to me...for me. Till then I will go on loving you...who knows my love will finally heal you completely..."
With a complacent smile, she moved to the other side of the bed and laid besides the two most precious persons in her life.
The healing process has started...
