Is it really necessary to pair all cast in crime serial??

For me anyone but duo can be linked. I dont care who and to whom. But for me, duo are too sacred.

But cant a gal and a guy b frnds? Is it really necessary for poor purvi to b linked to every male cop? I hate ds and at pairing...
