SM is looking good for me as Pratap. Thank goodness that beard is gone.. 😆 Not so sure about Rachna yet. Am not yet able to see Roshini's Ajab in her.. Too early to tell I suppose just from the promo.. Haven't seen her earlier work. So, can't comment on her acting. But, she is looking beautiful as Ajab..

Phool will be back.. But, I hope they don't bring in unwanted triangle between PraJa-Phool like how they are bringing in between US-JB-VB..🤢 I just HATE it when they bring in unwanted twists and destroy the whole history.
Interesting observation about Ajab's jewelery though.. I didn't think of it as SB's but you are right it does bear some resemblance to it...

SM is looking ok to me for now...yes thank god the beard is gone but then I never expected that to be his finalized look anyways...he looks like a skinnier version of US for now...but the moustache is working on him.

Either ways Pratap is a tall order to live up to with the benchmark Faisal has set...and ditto for Roshni's Ajab...I'm not seeing Ajab as much as I'm seeing a paler imitation of JB being put forth through Rachna...Ajabde's beauty was soulful, not really dependent on outward appearances.

Phool will no doubt be back...this show has a history of lustifying the love triangles...I very much expect a repeat of the US-JB-VB issues with a tadkaa of DB incited misunderstandings/seperations to go along...

History will only be shown in the random battles that the writers will throw in when they are in the mood 😆

The jewellery is ditto SB's...I'm surprised that I'm the only one to notice considering I'm a relatively recent viewer of PraAja's story😆

Well Dixie you are entitled to your opinion. 😊
But SM is not at all fit for MP IMO.

Not even as manly as US.

No height, physique, old world charm, solid voice or piercing eyes. The greatest Rajput warrior had different aura and personality. SM is just a choco boy compared to that image.

He can only fit in romantic scenes with queen. In the court and the battlefield, a royal misfit.

Rajput men of those days were alpha males. Not pulpy softies.

I am just a silent viewer in this forum but ur post made me post a reply.
I am also not at all impressed by the adult casting. Rachana doesn't have that aura that was in Roshni, atleast not for now maybe when she is more into the character I may see the difference.
Pratap...don't get me started, at first I was keeping an open mind thinking SM may surprise us but the attitude that Faisal had is nowhere to be seen in SM. And again his recent TB video is offputting. He should have some respect to the character he is playing.
Phool need not be introduced so early.
Finally I really hope they stick to history after the leap. MP was not a great lover but a great warrior and his maharani Ajabde was his greatest support. I don't think they had these kind of MU in their life. They faced all the hardships together.
I will really miss those kids who have taken this show to another level inspite of crappy twists.

Thank you for replying! I agree with you...I haven't yet seen SM's TB video but in general he lacks the humility and reverence displayed by Faisal while portraying this role...and that is what really added to the aura of Pratap in the show...

And you are so very right on that last line...the kids made it worth watching despite the crappy twists cuz they brought a sincerity and earnestness to their characters and kept those original traits of Pratap and Ajabde alive despite random character deviations forced upon them via the script.

I would also like it if the focus shifted more towards the valor and sacrifice these two characters made for their motherland rather than tacky romance that seems inevitable once a show takes a leap into adulthood.

Faisal's Pratap is on another level that can't be achieved...I think Sharad will likely play this more as US's son than trying to follow up Faisal...as it is, physically he doesn't look like Pratap was supposed to.

As for Roshni...you've yourself said it so well...the high points of her emoting as Ajabde...yes she faltered in diction and dialogue delivery time to time...both her and Faisal did...but I could let it slide simply cuz I was so blown away by their emoting! What intensity in their eyes! And the way they held their own in front of veteran actors...especially the way these kids held their own in front of Rajshree who was simply so majestic in both presence and acting...that is what really impressed me...the confidence and sincerity with which they played their roles... The kids have just been fab.

I love what you mentioned about Roshni's voice...just like her eyes...which have both a calmness and a strength in them.

As for Rachna...I've also only seen a couple of clips of her show and I don't doubt she can act...but Ajabde needed a different level of earthy and regal dignity...anyways let's see how she does as the show progresses...right now to me, Rachna is looking like Rajshree's daughter and Sharad is looking like Shakti's son...basically JB and US reincarnated as adult Ajabde-Pratap😆...and well...to me PrAja had their OWN identity when Faisal-Roshni played them.

Rachana did play the role of Rajshree's daughter in Zee TV's show "Saat Phere"
