They are the reason Humanity is in such sorry state of affairs.Such bloody losers, just hating for the sake of it.

Just shut the hell up, will you?? Nobody is asking your sorry ass to watch the film.

WORD! Go and crusade for some worthy issue instead of creating problems for nothing!🥱

nah! ... all the religious fanatics are going all out to boycott the film ... if it picks up and actually moves from social media to the road, then serious trouble for the film
.

... i think our army is amazing (esp in light of J&K floods) ... but if anyone thinks that our army, or for that matter any other army in the world, is not guilty of human rights violations then they are delusional ... haider shows one side of the story which is a reality for thousands of people... if people think that not supporting modi or questioning army's conduct is anti-national then they are out of their minds

Yea I said the same thing in the other thread, its a film, a creative medium and the director has every right to show his POV however controversial or unpopular.

Saw Haider...below is what I wrote as part of my review...

About the Kashmir story...As VB said in one interview...it needs to be aired...The Kashmiris are the ones that are important here...they have been the innocent victims in this Indo-Pak war!!...their pain & suffering needs to be acknowledged and we as a nation should empathize and help heal them!!!..they are Indians and one of us!...

This one is a patriotic story and the release on Gandhi's Birthday makes perfect sense...👏

~~~~~~~~
I don't see why people are talking of Hindu vs Muslims here..movie mentioned about the disappearance of Kashmiri Pandits too...
also the film is not totally blaming the Army...they were doing their job as they were told to..all are victims of the system...they were trying to ferret out the terrorists..the methods used of torture and camps was deplorable..it should not have been done but I guess it was done..it's part of our history..
it's like the innocent getting the backlash of sharing their home, city and state with a few terrorists..they also come under suspicion for just even interacting with them...humanity is lost in all this...that is what VB is trying to bring out in Haider...that we are humans & Indians first!!..
Also in the end credits of the film..Indian Army was applauded for their efforts in rescue during Kashmir Floods...
There are always many sides to a story...all sides have been hurt..be it Hindu or Muslim..that is the message of the film..that revenge won't help..we have to forgive and become free..revenge would only lead to more bloodshed and revenge...
what are u even saying...different sections different opinions...haven't Hindus spoken about it too on different platforms...this is another platform where Vishal just made it by someone else's opinion
Movies will make o difference to the reality...one really cares do something for Hindus or Muslims or whosoever concerns you but this is not the solution. This at a larger scale won't even matter.
If movies make no difference then why most of the movies that deal with sensitive issues are banned in Pakistan. It is natural to be hurt because the people who are talking must have seen something that we did not see, must have suffered that we do not know. What's wrong in expressing anguish.
beautiful post v! 👏 🤗 in hindi they say "aag ko aag se mitane koshish karo to aag aur badhti hai:
It's tough to be the bigger person but sometimes one should do it. One says stuff like "inteqam" bit one rarely thinks things through or about others. The forces do a thankless job. 👏 I salute them. We can't even do 10% of what they do. The best we people can do is fulfil our duties as citizens and not encourage talks of violence let bygones be bygones and think of a better tomorrow
