Ever since Rani Mukerji tied the knot with Aditya Chopra, she has been spotted making a lot of appearances with her mother- in- law Pamela Chopra by her side. Her first ever appearance after her Italy wedding was with Pamela in tow for a brand launch. While Rani is known to be a private person, she makes sure her mother- in- law is present for all important occasions.
" The Mukerji family gathers at the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja every year. It is a tradition that has been kept up ever since they moved to Mumbai and Navratri is the time the entire family gathers together. This time, however since Rani is married, everyone was expecting her to bring along her husband. But Rani got along her mother- in- law instead. She was spotted by her side throughout the evening and additionally she also ensured that her mom Krishna ( Mukerji) took good care of Pamela aunty as this was their Durga Puja pandal. Both Krishna and Pamela aunty were spotted indulging in some friendly banter as Rani met her other relatives," a source present at the event says.
It was earlier reported that in the weekly routines where the Chopras gathered to watch movies, Rani's parents were the recent addition to the list. During that time, Krishna would always be looking out for Pamela making sure she was well attended to. Also, when Pamela attended film screenings, Krishna would always be spotted sitting right next to her, ensuring she had everything she needed.
