Hey thanks for the pm. Loved the update. Wonderful,enjoyed every bit of it. Superb. Cudnt be more better. So Arnav was a demon in past and Khushi a human. Akash a vampire and Payal a converted vampire. Wat would Arnav have done in the past?? Interesting update soon

Hey guys.Most of you noticed I didn't post any of my stories and I got a lot of pms regarding that.Anyways just want to let you guys know I will be more regular.Not like posting everyday but once or twice a week is a definite.

Part 2

Payal frowned "How about you start from the beginning"

Arnav nodded "Sure.I guess you'll understand much better if I tell you from the start.I had a quick love story with Khushi" he pressed his lips together "This is how I met her"

Flashback

Arnav walked through the forest in his human form "Where's that damn soul?" he grumbled "I need to feed Fierce" Usually Arnav was happy to bring a soul to hell but he forgot to feed his fire dog the previous day and knowing the dog's behaviour quite well he knew Fierce was going to demand for more than 10 souls which would take a while.Arnav took another look around and finally found the dead body of a 40 year old man.His soul floated above it.Arnav took out a round crystal ball and opened it "Come on.In you get" he said before capturing it.He shrunk the ball enough to put it in his pocket.The body disappeared.

"Oh" He heard a feminine voice.Arnav turned around and saw a woman in her mid twenties.Her long black hair curled at her waist and her eyes sparkled bright hazel.She had two empty baskets.One basket in each hand.Beautiful was the first thought that slipped into Arnav's mind but he immediately shook his head.He looked at her and wondered if she saw what he did.She looked at him curiously "I have never seen you before"

Arnav sighed in relief when he realized she didn't see the dead body or the soul "Um yeah..I guess you could say I just moved in"

The female widened her eyes "You live in the forest?"

"Sure.Why not"

"I always come to the forest but I never saw a house"

"Um that's because it was just recently built but what are you doing here? You are trespassing" he lied.

She widened her eyes even more "Oh am I? I am so sorry.I didn't know" Arnav stared at her.Was it really possible to be that innocent to not even know if someone is lying or not "You see I sell berries and flower bouquets for a living.I collect them from here in the morning and sell it in the city in the afternoon"

Arnav frowned "You probably don't get a lot of money from that"

She shrugged "It's enough for me"

A moment of silence passed between them.Arnav cleared his throat to grab Khushi's attention "Um would you like some help?"

"Oh I couldn't ask that from you" she hesitated "But could you allow me permission to pick berries and flowers on your property?"

Arnav stared at her "Um..sure...why not I suppose"

She grinned "Really! Thank you thank you! You have no idea how much this means to me"

"Um okay.My name is Arnav.What's yours?"

She smiled "Khushi"

Arnav smiled "Your name really suits you"

"Thank you"

Arnav nodded "I'll help you pick berries"

"Oh you don't have to"

"I'd love to"

Arnav had no idea why he said that but it was too late to take it back.Khushi grinned at him and gave him a basket "All right.The best and most berries grow on those bushes.I'll be there collecting the flowers"

Arnav nodded "Okay"

The two spent the entire morning picking up berries and flowers.At 12 pm they were finished "Thank you once again for helping me" Khushi said with a smile.

She took the berry basket from him and turned around to leave.Arnav watched her slowly walk away from him.He felt like he should stop her "W-Wait" he called out.

Khushi turned around "Yes"

"Um how about you come over at my house and relax for a bit before leaving for the city" the words came out before he could stop them.He bit his tongue.

"Oh I couldn't possibly be even more trouble for you.It's bad enough I made you pick the berries for me"

Arnav looked at her "It's no problem.Please come otherwise I will feel like we haven't really become friends" Arnav bit his tongue even harder.He was really losing control of what he was saying.

Khushi hesitated "Oh okay I guess"

Arnav led Khushi a bit far from where they were.Using his powers he created the house with his imagination.Khushi widened her eyes when they reached "Wow you have a beautiful house" she said completely awed.'You mean imagination' he corrected in his thoughts.

Arnav smiled and nodded at her "Come in.I'll get you something to drink"

"Thank you" she replied.

He led her into the living room and went to the kitchen himself.Arnav got orange juice and poured it in a glass.He picked it up and was about to head into the living room when he froze "Wait a second.What am I doing?" he questioned himself "I should be back in Hell by now and even done feeding Fierce" he frowned "I should have let her go home but there was my big mouth who had to stop her.Maybe I should hypnotize her instead of letting my mouth handle things" With that in mind he strode into the living room with firm footsteps "Khushi" he called out to her.Khushi looked at Arnav and smiled.Arnav froze whatever he was about to do when he saw her eyes sparkle.

Flashback Ends

Arnav chuckled and shook his head "I just couldn't do it.Whenever I looked into her eyes I felt hypnotized myself.It felt like she had a power over me.I was willing to do whatever she wanted me to do for her.Surprisingly I didn't feel like a slave or a servant to her.I felt happiness within me whenever I saw her smile and her eyes sparkle.I couldn't understand at first and when I did it was too late"

Flashback

The next morning Arnav came back to the forest hoping to see Khushi again.He looked around until he finally found her picking some flowers "Want me to help?" he offered.

Khushi smiled "Sure"

Flashback Ends

"I practically grew an addiction to see her everyday.To talk to her everyday.To see that beautiful smile of hers everyday.To make her laugh everyday.And to bring her to my home for an hour or so.We got to know each other better but I didn't tell her I was a demon.I could have imagined her reaction.Scared and terrified.I didn't want her to see me in that light.I didn't want her to change in any way.She grew too special for me.Perhaps even more special than Fierce who I had ever since I was born.One day she didn't come to the forest.I waited and waited but she never came.It was the first time she had done something like that and I guess you could say I lost it"

Flashback

It was midnight and Khushi still hadn't come.'Why isn't she here' Arnav wondered 'She always comes'.Anger flared inside him.Arnav gave up on waiting and decided to see her himself.

"Where is she?" Arnav growled grabbing the nearest human being his hands reached.

"W-Who?" he asked terrified.

"Khushi! Twenty four year old girl with long black hair up to her waist.Hazel wide eyes and long eyelashes.Fair flawless skin.A bit shorter than me.She comes to the city to sell berries and flower bouquets"

"O-Oh h-her..I-I heard she l-lives in that a-apartment" he stuttered pointing to a building.

"Fine" Arnav said releasing the man.He reached the building in a couple quick strides.He flung open the door and went to the receptionist "Khushi.Where is she?"

"Khushi? Sir may I please have the last name"

"I don't know her last name damn it!" he roared,slamming it on her desk.She jumped and looked at him fearfully "Tell me all the rooms the Khushis are in! I'll find the right one myself!"

The receptionist nodded quickly and typed in her name "T-There's only one K-Khushi.Room 120.Would you like d-directions?"

Arnav was already walking away "I'll find it myself" he grumbled.Room 115.Room 116.117.118.119.Finally 120.Arnav pounded on the door with his fist.When she didn't open the door he began ringing her door bell and knocking the door loudly all at the same time.Eventually a couple minutes later Khushi finally did open the door.She was wearing a huge sweater and a scarf around her neck.Her eyes looked tired and weak,slightly red.She looked at him for a second before collapsing in his arms "Khushi" he looked at her shocked.She looked terrible.He wrapped his arms under her knees and around her back and picked her up "Khushi wake up" he said in his soft voice and slightly shaking her.She was shivering.Arnav lay her on the bed and sat next to her.He caressed her hair.Khushi slowly opened her eyes and stared at Arnav.She smiled weakly at him.Knowing Khushi well enough he knew it was a forced smile "Khushi what's wrong" he whispered gently.

"I am sick" she coughed "I have the flu.I took the medicine but I couldn't fall asleep so I took this other capsule.It made me sleep quite heavily which is why I couldn't hear you ringing the doorbell and knocking and I also ended up fainting in your arms"

"Oh Khushi I am so sorry for bothering you" he murmured feeling strongly guilty "I didn't know what I was thinking"

Khushi blinked and smiled.This time it didn't look so forced "Thank you for coming Arnav.I was feeling so lonely"

Arnav smiled and entwined his fingers with hers "I was feeling just as lonely.You have made such a special place in my heart" he admitted truthfully "Now go to sleep.You need all the rest you can get"

"What about you?" Khushi whispered.

"I'll be right here if you need anything"

Khushi gave one last smile before closing her eyes into deep slumber.

Flashback Ends

Payal laughed "I can't believe you reacted that way just because Khushi didn't come to meet you"

Arnav chuckled "You should have seen the state I was in.I was practically all over the place"

Payal smiled "She really must have been special to make a place in a demon's heart"

Arnav gave a sad smile "I didn't even know if I had a heart before I met her.She taught me the meaning of love indirectly and I took too long to realize it" He sighed "I just wish I hadn't...Things would have been so different.Perhaps she would have been beside me,married and a beautiful future to look forward to but I ruined everything"

Payal bit her lip looking at his crest-fallen face "Are you okay?"

"I wish" he murmured.

"So...what happened next?" Payal asked trying to change the tense atmosphere "How did she react to see you in her bed?"

A smile spread on Arnav's face "Well..."

Flashback

The bright sunshine spread across Khushi's face through the curtains.Khushi made a face in her sleep.She shifted but it made no difference.Khushi's arm stretched out and it touched something solid.Grabbing it's silky material in her hand she pressed herself against it's form.She felt something wrap around her and tighten it's hold.She felt warm breathing against her temple.Sighing softly,Khushi opened her eyes to see Arnav sleeping right next to her.She widened her eyes and without a second thought screamed.

Arnav's eyes flew open and immediately let go of her.He fell right out of bed.Arnav groaned not bothering to get up "Why are your floors so hard?"

Khushi giggled looking at him "You didn't expect it to be made of pillows did you?"

"Something like that"

"I am so sorry" she said pressing her lips together trying to suppress her smile "Here" she stuck out her hand.

Arnav smirked.He took her hand in his and pulled her down towards him.Khushi squealed in shock and surprise "Got you" he chuckled holding her soft form on to top of his.

Khushi laughed happily.Her eyes sparkled as she looked down at him "Oh Arnav" she giggled pressing her forehead against his.

Arnav's breath caught in his throat as he looked up at her mesmerizing beauty "You look beautiful when you laugh like that.Please never stop"

Khushi stared at him with confusion and happiness.Arnav tipped her chin up towards him with the edge of his finger and pressed his lips against hers...
