Allah knows!!! I meant the verses and translations to be sane...
But in came Sahir and Arzoo and sanity flew out my window pane...😆
Arz Kiya Hai...
(Avi Credit : .Shiva.)
"Ek khwaish , ek tamanna, ek Sahir ki Arzoo,
Tanhai ko ab hai ek, humsafar ki justajoo;
Chandni ki girafth mein kare, jo barish se guftagu,
Ae waqt tu ab dhoond la, woh Sahir ki Arzoo."
And now for the translation for the ones who may need it and nope it doesn't rhyme...
(A wish, a desire, and aspiration of the wakeful ,
The loneliness now has a quest of a soul mate;
In the hold of the moonlight, who converses with the rain,
Oh time now seek that Arzoo of Sahir.)
Note:
Sahir in the first line means the wakeful soul while Arzoo means aspiration and the same make the appearance in the last lines as our very own Sahir and Arzoo.
khwaish= wish ; tamanna= desire ;
Sahir=a wakeful person ; Arzoo= aspiration ;
Tanhai = loneliness ; humsafar = soulmate ; justajoo = quest
girafth = hold ; guftagu= conversations
Gist :
This is the underlying desire here is that Sahir gets his humsafar in Arzoo and they further embark on their journey on a moonlit night as rain drizzles down upon them...soaking them in the thing that spins the world around... LOVE.

So whats the verdict???
For the ones who are 😃 or 😆 after the onslaught of the verses... treat yourselves to
"The Imartis"
"The Imlis"
Allah knows!!!
