Tangled in the web of Compassion and Complication 30/09

Hello people, Aditi here. I am new in forum. Absolutely in love with the show and its character. I guess that's enough of an introduction for now. This is my take on today's episode. I'll TRY to present my views daily but can not guarantee it.

As we all knew, Navya would make a last minute entry so the question was what would NH3 do till then? CVs portrayed the scene wisely by making Harshad delay their performance as much as he could. His luck delayed his performance by 1 band making Omega perform before them. What I liked today about him was his calm state of mind even while Cabir and Mukti didn't ceased their merciless taunting. He had presence enough to encourage his band to at least go and try, and leave the rest for judges.

For me Harshad isn't all bad boy kind of character as it's portrayed at many instances. He has his own share of baggage. Yes, he has been shown selfish, merciless, hurtful towards Fab5 but NEVER towards any of the NH3 member, intentionally. What people say about him using Navya and stuff, then guys, he never saw Navya in that light. He thought of her as a simple girl who stepped in S.P.A.C.E to fulfill her dream of being a musician. Her antics and craziness were mistaken for her childishness. Never did he think from that tangent to realize her feeling for him. Also, we can say that he is too obsessed with Fab5 and Maanik then he chooses to ignore everything else. After the performance, one could see how he praises Navya and was pleasantly surprised by her oblivious to the fact what his simple gesture does to her. So I think we can clean his name from simply using the girls and violating them. Yes, he is using them to defeat Fab5, he cleared it with them but apart from that, it's a big no from my side that he even thought of using and playing with either of their emotion.

Well, there is some big secret behind Cabir-Raghav. I, might, believe in the gay track if this continues. Either Raghav is aware of Cabir's secret and is somehow related to it or Cabir is gay. I think it's former for the look Raghav game to Cabir wasn't of longing or care rather I found it to be criticizing. (Completely my point of view. You are free to state yours) Whatever it is, Fab5 is definitely leading towards the vortex of the storm and whatever the secret is, will act as a catalyst only.

Maanik seemed to be fine tuned to music until he saw response-less Cabir to Mukti's insult for NH3. It is not like Cabir to not drop in his two cents when it is to insult anyone specially NH3, which again reminded him of the big storm awaiting.

Cabir, then, is brought back to earth by Mukti, and what a brilliant actor Ayaz is. The way Cabir transcends from being next to dead to back where generally people see Cabir that is taunting, demeaning, and talking everything which makes you want to stomp upon his mouth. Cabir is also reminded by Maanik of their talk which is on their pending list and we see stress making its way up to him.

We are now answered the question, why on earth did Chachi and Rishabh landed in the college. Seems like our little fairy forgot her magic wand and her pixie got restless seeing her go to devils zone without wand so he along with mother fairy went to give her, her wand. What I like was Rishabh's care for his sister. No matter what the situation is, he just can not see his sister in trouble or upset due to anything.

Now coming to Dhruv - Nandini - Maanik trio. We saw how Dhruv was admiring Nandini but diverted away when he saw her looking back. I can now safely assume that yes; Dhruv gave himself right to feel but not in front of anybody, not even Maanik or Nandini. He is still shy in accepting his feeling to himself our loudly then let us simply forget about acting upon it even a bit in front of anyone or the person in question. He still has long way to go in terms of his feelings.

Nandini is, at times, so cuddly, so cute that all you want is to either be like her so you get yourself a Maanik or go give her a big tight hug. The way she longed to be with her friend, to talk to him to level down her stress showed that no matter what, she won't leave the ones who mean anything to her midway. What I meant was the symbolism it holds for future, her never give up on someone spirit will help her relationship with Maanik a big time for Maanik might star to back away due to his own set of insecurity but this girl will be the person to hold him tight and not let go. Then comes the scene where Maanik sees her, God, can they both get anymore cute. The instance she sees Maanik seeing her, Nandini turns around and starts doing all the stupid stuff hoping against hope that Maanik doesn't come there and voila, he is there. What follows is a cute little banter in its own unique way with Nandini trying to lie and excuse herself and Maanik catching her like deer in headlight yet again. The best part was the way they were hesitating to talk in front of everyone as if they are a pair of secret friend and if someone saw them talking their friendship will break (which might be true given the fact that their respective friends... err... don't have brains at all (: )

Maanik. This guy leaves me astonished every time he comes onscreen. Every time I see him, I am made to come in terms with yet another layer of his. Today we saw him getting surprised seeing the mini interaction between Dhruv and Nandini and also due to the fact that Dhruv left the place. He looked towards Nandini meaning to ask her about what exactly was happening only to have his lady behaving crazy. Trust me, the minute Nandini sees Maanik either she becomes Jhansi Ki Rani or just chickens out. Here we witnessed the latter. The moment Maanik saw her she went all haywire which amused Maanik even more, to an extent that we went ahead to give her a piece of his own mind. God some just minus Fab5 from the scene no. They are the only evil due to which he can't even go and talk to Nandini straightly. And the inevitable came, they got into banter as if they were married old couple. (Psht. Kids, I tell you these days) Of course we all are aware that Mr. Malhotra needs to have time in his own solitude after talking to his Professor Nandu rather I should say fighting so he leaves the scene.

We now see Chachi and Rishabh arriving at the college premises. On asking the students about the whereabouts of Nandini, as usual, college fellows make mockery of her but even she wasn't left behind in chiding them away. Then by the grace of God rather CVs, Maanik presence was known by Chachi. She calls out to him and poor chap gets confused as to what happened. When she said that he didn't visited the house to meet Nandini after that day did he realized what was happening. Oh and I loved Parth's expression when Chachi was like are you still friends? The blank face he gets is hilarious. Such a pitiful sight. Maanik was now being questioned about his relation status with Nandini when he himself didn't know the answers. He goes all blank when asked about being friends, shocked being enemies but the moment Chachi says that she better say what she want to else Nandini jhaad laga degi' Maanik was all, I can't guarantee that. Kabhi bi jhaad lagane lagti hai.' Ah, the knowing look Chachi gave him while saying, You seem to know her quite a lot' had him astonished.

On Rishabh's reminder Chachi asks him that she wants to meet Nandini where Maanik politely refuses stating they aren't allowed over there. She then tells him of Nandini forgetting her lucky pen and she needs to have that for her performance. Maanik remembers that, that was her father's last memory which he destroyed. He is astonished to see that in intact condition. He then tries calling Nandini but she refuses to pick his call, well who can blame her, she has right to react that way to his call. On her not answering the call, Maanik asks for the pen so that he can give it to her but Rishabh refuses point blank to let anyone even touch that pen other than Nandini. It seemed to me as if he realizes that how important that pen is to his sister and it couldn't be trusted with anyone. Anyone.

Okay. Now I am really curious as to what is with this Dhruv - Rishabh thing. Some how I have this gut feeling that whatever it may be, it will affect Maanik - Nandini relation very badly.

Rishab suffers another of his attack and Chachi immediately asks Maanik to call Nandini which he thoughtfully did but to his distress she doesn't receives any of it, instead switches off her phone thinking it is another of his prank. Yet again, one can not blame her for that. On sensing no response from Nandini, Maanik take Rishabh to infirmary.

On other hand we witness NH3 performing with Navya making the last minute entry on Koi Mil Gaya from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Personally, what a sad choice of song. Kamli from Dhoom3 or Jiya Re from Jab Tak Hai Jaan would have been a better choice. I have simply wiped out the song sequence except for the part where Maanik - Rishabh are shown.

This, people, is the reason why I always say that I'll prefer brooding, kinder spirited, chauvinistic guy over everyone anytime. Not because I am fond of male domination, hey, I am feminist myself, but because if these people care for you, they will go to world's end to see you happy and secured. Something we witnessed today from Maanik for Rishabh. Maanik cares for Rishabh mainly due to two reasons. Mostly because he is no different from Dhruv and he knows what comes with this type of attack, party due to Nandini (If there are anymore reason, please state. I haven't seen previous episodes to know the.) I almost choked myself with overwhelming admiration when I saw Maanik cradling Rishabh to calm him down as if he is a small kid. Just like our grandparents do when we get scolded by our parents. The helpless expression on his face when he couldn't help Rishabh made my heart go out for him. The human within him amuses me every time it shows its appearance.

And we are back to kindergarten with kids demeaning each other. Honestly, I am sick tired of this child's play. People use something intellectual no. Why use these kid-ish methods when you can do better? And did I just saw Navya landing back to square one doing her Harshad Ji Jaap? So much for her self - respect. Grow up woman.

As we already saw, Fab5 minus Maanik on stage. Additional scenes to it were Nandini being stumped seeing eleven missed calls by Maanik and a message stating her brother's condition. And boy, she runs towards infirmary.

Did I hear Cabir singing Maanjha from Kai Po Che correctly? Thank god at least one band had a good choice of song.

Yo people, still awake right? I know it was tooo long but today's episode had too much in it to analyze.

Also, you can surely see me dancing around since I saw almost half of my prediction about Maanik - Rishabh scene coming true.

I do agree with Harshad's part..
And Ayaz as Cabir is BRILLIANT! I noticed when Raghav gave Cabir that look & it seemed like Cabir was looking at him but the very next moment it seemed like Cabir wasn't particularly looking at anyone.. he was just in a deep thought until Mukti shakes him.
Raghav sure knows something about Cabir.. He is so different at different times..normally joking around but can be so serious when a situation demands(which he is I believe really serious).. but to others he's a funny guy..

I know, right. There has to be something big between Raghav and Cabir and not just gay track, I believe so.

Regarding Rishab not giving the pen to Manik-It's because he knows Manik as the bad guy.. The first time he'd seen Manik was when Manik snatches the pen from his hand..troubles Nandu n throws the pen into the pool that Rishab tries to save by jumping into the pool.. Besides Nandu used to tell him about Manik's ploys.. So whether he would trust anybody or not with the pen..he doesn't trust Manik for sure😆

Manik cradles Rishab the way he does with Dhruv..Plus he has seen Nandu do the same with Rishu.. The reasons are as you mentioned.. if it was before he turned soft towards human emotions, then he'd probably not help Rishab out..or he might have thought of his own selfish motives for doing so(Like it was said in the initial epis by his so called Mother-Life mein kuch bhi free mein nhi milta..Give & Take).

That was the BEST part in the episode. I loved how Maanik dealt with Rishabh. I am in awe with what he does nowadays.

There is no bad guy as such in this serial and this is what makes it super interesting. Everyone has reasons, some of the jibes are well deserved on fab5 considering their past behaviour.

That's the best part of the show since in life too, there is no villain you are villian to yourself. It's your deeds, past and insecurities that makes or breaks your life and controls what happens around you.

Navya's square 1 is kinda expected, she needs to hear it from Harshad because the way she clings to the hope is frightening and damaging. A lot like Alya.

The point is that these girls are so invested in Maanik and Harshad, respectively that they don't even recognize their individual existence. I am more worried for Alya in this matter than Navya. When needed and properly boosted, Navya stands strong on her ground but what about Alya. She is so gullible and had weaved this little world of hers around Maanik that when she'll me made come face to face with the harsh truth, she'll be shattered.

Manik is such a star, the best part is it's not some transformation rather he has always been the good guy who has to be the villain and protect his fab5 cubs.

Exactly, he is not transforming but his shelled-self is making itself visible now and then with constant happening in his life. He has always been this kind of guy, example to that will be Dhruv but was scared to show this side afraid that people might stomp upon him and go away.

The connection between Dhruv and Rishab is a mystery. Alien theory seems to be possible one but I doubt they will use it. Something definitely big links them

I really need to see previous episodes so that I can come with a theory of myself. It better be worth it else CVs are so in for bashing and demeaning. We will turn to Fab5 then and make them our target.

I agree with you on Cabir, it seemed Raghav was reprimanding Cabir. I would be happy if Cabir was gay but in relationship with Ranbir or somebody else , just the teacher thing is creepy.

I know, right. Lets see what is in store by CVs.

Mukti is a ticking time-bomb which will affect everyone.

Mukti is one person I am scared of and for. She alone has potential to ruin Fab5. Imagine when these people will get in terms of her issue and anti-depressant then every member of the group will suffer from self-loathing since they couldn't even get out the fact how badly their friend is affected by the incident of two years ago. According to me, not only Fab5 but Harshad will be mightily affected by this piece of news.
