Dev is a forced entry. His flashbacks with Nitya looks odd and out of place. They exchanged gifts, went to movie together, cooked meals and Dev also had a duplicate key to her house and YET no one ever objected or even noticed it. Her parents are always missing from such flashbacks.
He took 2 long years to return to India. Since he is an Indian citizen, I cannot believe Visa problem can hold him in US for that long that too when he is a Goenka scion. What makes him believe Nitya is still alive ? What makes him believe Nitya will accept him now ?
Nitya didn't have a phone or Sakshi also banned phone calls in USA using her money and influence ? Besides, Dev's email was hacked and he never knew about it. How can a man be so clueless that his email account is hacked and he doesn't know about it ? Also, did he write any mail to Nitya anyways ?
I cannot believe a woman never mind how powerful she is can stop someone from contacting another person in this technologically advanced age.
The day Durga devi showed immense hatred for her childhood friend I knew the show is going to go topsy turvy soon. Why so hatred for Dev ? What has he done by the way ? He didn't buy people, he didn't kill anyone, he didn't rape anyone. Only he could not go against his family. How can he be a bigger criminal than Sakshi and Shaurya ? Durga completely shifted her focus all because of Dev. This was the time when Dayal became Baba Dayal and started giving pravachans on the privileges of a conjugal life.
Then Dev was proved innocent and then started Duggu- Dabbu love story.
