Yes.

Her pics were used while making idols of Goddess Durga.

In fact she became popular again on TV in 90s after she played Goddess Durga in a serial.

I think it is due to her big eyes. She has a classic Indian face.

wow last week people were going on about deepika being matarani

all I see is worshipping of this matarani, she is so sweet, she is so funny, she is so honest, she is so blah blah blah, and all she is is a bad actress non deserving of the money she has made in bollywood making a fool out of the junta.

@bold jealous that she made money and reached the No. 1 Position w/o being an Oscar winning performer and ur DPad had to first learn her job coz w/o that none were accepting her unlike Kat who was accepted the way she was...and is still LOVED like crazy😆

Hema did act very well in Mirabai, Lal Patthar, Kinaara, Seeta aur Geeta. I do not think Katrina can be compared to her in acting. I don't see her pulling off those films and roles I mentioned. Hema was no Smita Patil but still not in Kat category either.
