ACP Kabir missed out!

while interrogation vivan, he said kabir what trisha said to him about she likes someone else..so y he is not trying to find out about the person who trisha like? there r possibilty that trisha ran away with him or the person she like is bad man n did something wrong to her..why kabir let go all these thing?
i dont want the person who trisha like to be from her brothers or uncles!!

A huge loophole in the plot as it is,as a supposedly top ACP investigator, Kabir should be focusing on details like this? Its defintetly not something that one brushes off?
