"I will call Amir to send us a car" Ram said Kate as they made their way out from the airport "not needed, I left a message to Priya, and she said she would pick us up" Kate said. Ram looked at her "Kate, that's great" he said "no, I didn't do it for you Ram" she said. Ram laughed "I know you did it for me, I am so happy that your by my side" he said "well, you were there with me always" she said. he nodded "I will be there always, but the truth is I need you more than you need me" he said "well, just a few days, then Priya will take care of you and I can rest a while" she said "It wont be a tough job for her, to handle my anger and mood changes" Ram said. Kate looked at him "why is that?" she asked "well, you wont understand, her face has something, that can calm me you know" he said slowly "Ram, I really cant believe you're the one who is talking this" Kate laughed. Ram blushed lightly "who else can I say these Kate" he said. she was still laughing.

"KATE, God finally you're here" saying Priya ran and threw herself over Kate. "I missed you" "oh, I am sorry baby, I missed you too" Kate told her. Ram felt happy that Kate was there with Priya when she needed her support. He was really proud of his friend, but sometimes jealous too, as she was more close to his Priya. "errr, I am alive" Ram interrupted. Priya freed Kate from her embrace and looked at Ram "good to see you" she said. "So?" he asked "so what?" "you didn't miss me?" he asked innocently. "no, why should I, when you don't bother about me?" she asked "what? Priya what are you talking?" he asked confused "forget it Ram, you never bothered to tell me your leaving town, how bad that can be?" she asked. Ram looked at Kate "Aaah, actually I had some important work" he stammered. Priya stared at him "what?" he asked again "nothing, I think we should leave Kate" she told her. Kate nodded and grinned at Ram who was standing helpless and whispering "help me please"

They reached the car and Priya jumped to the driver seat and Kate beside her. "guys, I cant take a backseat, Kate out now" Ram told her. "the first wins, sit back" Kate told him. Ram sighed and got into the backseat. He saw Priya who was completing ignoring him. he tried to open a topic and Priya and Kate would talk about something else, or watch the dresses that hanged on the shops nearby, or Kate would be telling about some handsome guy who passed by. Ram kept looking at Priya, she was in her black skirt, and a light yellow top, her hair was left down her shoulders. he wasn't able to get a full view of her face "Damn it" he said under his breath. Priya glanced at him through the mirror as though she caught his voice. He gave her a smile, and she turned away. "Oh God, now should I apologize to her?" he thought. "Ram we are in your home" Kate told him. he looked outside and noticed they had reached their home. "Kate granny wanted to see you" Ram told her "what?" Kate asked facing him "yeah she messaged me" Ram told me "Ram, Gran message you, don't be silly" Kate told him. "I am not joking, its your wish to meet her" saying he got down. "Ok Ok, I am going" saying Kate left into his house "maybe I should go too" saying Priya got down from the car and walked past him when he caught her hand. she turned too see him, her eyes questioning him "WHAT?"

He pulled her and in one smooth turn, he imprisoned her between the car and him "Ram" she stammered. He didn't answer for a while. she felt her heart slamming against her chest as he pressed himself a little closer to her. "is he going to kiss me?" she thought. finally "why are you angry on me?" he asked. she breathed in relief, but realized she was angry on him "you left without a word" she said "I am sorry, I had some important work" he said "lie" "what?" he asked "you're a liar, gran told me you were upset" she said. he smiled "I am okay, I really had some work, needed to get answers for some questions, needed to know about something which were very important" he said "oh" she said "I wont do it again, I promise" he said "Its ok Ram, I was just faking anger" she smiled "that's not funny" he said with a stern face "I am scared, don't look at me like that" she said. he smiled "good then" he said. she punched him lightly "don't do that again" she said "I wont, promise" he said. "but you know what, you are poor liar" she said and laughed "why?" he asked "you said gran messaged, that was funny" Priya said. he smiled "yeah I didn't get anything at the moment, I could have directly told Kate to go, but I know you wouldn't like it" he said. Priya nodded "Okay, I think your breaking my bones Ram" she said slowly. He realized he had crushed her between the car and himself. He felt she was perfect fit in his arms, perfect to hold her in his embrace. How he wished time would freeze. Her thighs pressing against him, blurring his vision and mind now and then, he noticed that her hands were resting on his coat. He smiled seeing it. "Ram" she called, he looked at her "you know, I feel different when you call my name" he said. she smiled "why is it that your used to hearing Sir in office people, Son by gran and Idiot by Kate?" she asked "maybe" he smiled "Ram, I think I will have a fracture" she told him. "sorry, sorry" he said and moved back. "So you really didn't miss me?" he asked leaning on the car casually near her "no" she said gazing down "really?" he asked bending to see her face. she smiled "I missed, that's why I was angry" she said "I am happy you missed, cause when I leave a place most of the people would be happy" he said. she laughed "reasonable" she said. "Priya" he said warningly. "sorry" she said holding her ears.

"and when the hell did gran message you?" Kate shouted. Priya laughed "Kate, I am sorry, I think It was in my dream you know" Ram said "shut up Ram, I know why you sent me" she said. Ram blinked "Of course, who will know better" he said "Priya, I want to go home and sleep, shall we?" Kate asked her. Priya nodded "see you Ram" she told him "see you tomorrow night, dinner, date" he told her. Priya nodded and got into the car "I will get you something for the night tomorrow" Ram told Kate who was staring at him "no thanks my friend" saying she got into her seat. Both waved Ram and drove away.

"oh Priya, had a tough time in Delhi" Kate told Priya "what was the sudden work?" Priya asked her "just boss wanted to go, you were ok na?" she asked "I was fine Kate, but really missed you" Priya told her "I know you would, an you missed my cooking right?" Kate asked "definitely, I was starving the whole day" Priya told her and they both laughed.

Ram took blessing from his granny "Ram, is everything ok now?" she asked Ram smiled "actually everything is perfect granny, everything is going to be more perfect soon" he said "Ram, is there anything your hiding from me?" his gran asked. Ram scratched his temple and sat near her "Gran, I think I really love Priya, I want her to be my wife" he said slowly. "I know that, whats new?" his gran asked "what? I mean that's the thing nothing else" he said "aren't you surprised that I fell in love with her?" he asked. "I knew it Son, now bring the girl soon" she said "I will gran very soon, but now I need your help on something" he said "yes tell me Ram" she said. "Gran, tomo I am going on a date with her and I want it to be very different for her, I don't think its going to be her first date, but I want it to be the best, I have a idea, and I need your help" he said. "anything, but now I surprised, that your getting different ideas for a date" she said "Oh gran please" "Ram we can talk about that, go to your room and fresh up, let me get something for you to eat" she said. Ram nodded and left to her room.

"Priya you know what, its heaven to drink coffee made by you sitting here" Kate said. they were sitting in their balcony with their coffee cups. "I have made food for you, I have work for a while" Priya told Kate. Kate nodded "so" she asked "so what?" Priya asked back confused "dating Ram haan?" Kate asked "nope, it is just like a dinner you know, Kate commeon you know I don't date" Priya told her. "well, Ram told me it was a date, and according to my knowledge Ram don't date too" she said "What are you coming to say?" Priya asked "you know, so many days I have forced you to try a date and now you yourself have agreed to go with Ram, which means you like my friend" she said "Kate, I really like Ram, but its not the way you think" Priya said "I know Ram is my best friend Priya yet, I have to say you, nice catch baby, he's an awesome man" Kate said "Kate, stop that, It not like that" Priya told her "Priya, I can see some pink shades here and there in you cheeks, are you having an allergy?" Kate teased "shut up now" Priya smiled "Priya, I am serious, he will make a good match with you, and I know he likes you" Kate told her "Kate, you know right, beside Josh, I don't think another relationship is going to work for me, and I am not interested to, and I know Ram likes me, I decided to tell him everything tomorrow" she said "indirectly your ruining the date" Kate said "I think this is the best" Priya told her "yes me too, Ram has to know" Kate said. Priya nodded "Okay I am leaving now" Priya gave Kate a hug "food is ready" she reminded her once again and left.

Ram took his time to fresh himself. He felt like he was smelling of her. her fragrance. He closed his eyes as he relaxed himself in the bathtub. How like a puzzle she fitted in my hands he thought. having her close, he felt so good, like she was made to be in his arms. How he wished he could caress that beautiful face of hers and kiss those eyes which glowed always. "theres something she has in her eyes" he said "something for sure, that make my heart somersault, makes my stomach turn upside down, make me weak, I could do anything to keep that smile in her lips and the glow in her eyes" he said. but taking a close look in the eye he could see some pain, the pain of her past, which he will take away soon from her. "I am not going to leave that guy" Ram said. finishing his bath, he made some calls to his office, telling he wont be coming the next day. He had many things to plan, prepare for his date. Taking his phone he dialled to Kate.

"helloz" Kate said in a sleepy voice "Kate, I want help, tell me what Priya likes?" Ram asked "Ram I am sleepy, please leave me" she said "Kate, get up now, and tell me what Priya likes?" he asked again "well, Priya likes her profession, she likes me, she likes Djokovic, she likes books, she likes bags" Kate said half sleeping "that's not funny, now if your not going to let me know, I wil hang up the phone" he said. Kate threw her head back against the pillow in frustration "he will make me mad before he gets her" she thought "wait a minute will you" saying she went to splash some water on her face. settling herself on the couch "Tell me now" she said "how many times should I repeat?" he shouted "OK OK, I am sorry, I mean what category you to know in?" she asked "food, then decoration, flowers, colour, music, etc" he said "Ram I don't know what is Alex favourite in all these you know" she said "Alex?? That funny guy? in our gang" he asked "don't call him funny, hes is handsome looking and so lovely" she said "seriously Kate, you guys were fighting? And now your telling he is lovely, whats got into you?" he asked "hold on? Why do you want to know about Alex favourite? My God, Kate don't tell me you guys are " he stopped. Kate was banging her against the cushion cursing herself for making her statement about Alex "Ram just stop, well, yes we are, you know, he proposed on my bday, he came here for me in the morning and we confessed our love" she said "what? Kate seriously I mean this is awesome, but your so bad, you never opened up" he said. "no ram, I wasn't quite sure that this relationship would work out, but he is so genuine, when you were Delhi he was my support, he advised me to meet you there and helped me so well, so I am going to take this serious" she said . Ram laughed "I am happy, yet a little angry will see to you later when we meet, now are you gonna help me?" he asked "sure, tell me whats your plan now?" she asked "nope, I wont, I know you would tell her, just tell her favourites to me and I can take care of rest" he said "between, I want you to give something to Priya on my behalf, but make it look like its your choice ok?" he said "Ram, just tell me everything clearly" she said "Ok, tell me her favourites first one by one and I will tell you the next" he said. Kate patiently answered all the questions Ram was firing about Priya. She felt happy for him, that he finally found a girl for himself, this is what she wanted, so many years, from when she knew him.

"Kate you know what, I look like a freak show" Priya said as she glanced herself at the long mirror. She was looking at a girl in a black gown, with beautiful frills in in the bottom making her look like an angel. Her hair was left over her left shoulder. "I don't like myself" Priya said "you look amazing, and your wearing this tomorrow that's final, I got it for you" Kate said firmly. "I hope he doesn't laugh at me" Priya muttered "well actually you should hope that he doesn't loose control over himself" Kate teased. Priya hit her "shut up, it's a formal dinner" Priya told her "I don't think so, the guy is over excited you know, you can call him as over-excited fool" Kate laughed "don't day Ram like that, hes not a fool" Priya said "ohhh, defending your date, great" Kate said. Priya smiled. Her phone buzzed. Kate jumped on the bed to get it. "Oho, its your lover boy Ram, he is wishing you sweeet dreams" Kate said "Kate, stop that now, will you" Priya smiled and snatched her phone
