I think I know why I adore Rehaan and Sehar so much. Its their INNOCENCE that is touching and rather child-like. Like today...
The way Rehaan catches Sehar's lie that she has a tummy ache. The way Sehar thinks of Rehaan as 'AAP' in her mind. The way you see an innocent boy-girl feel when Rehan catches Sehar and saves her from slipping and falling. The way Sehar's face lights up like a chandelier on seeing the key in Rehaan's neck - and her kiddish and happy hop dance that amuses Rehaan. The way Sehar forcibly feeds the milk to Rehaan. Their whole mad dance is a merry go round of two kids as opposed to Sanam's and Aahil's tones of passion. Even when Rehaan and Sehar have the moments of latent attraction towards the culmination of the dance , its more on the lines of comfort and solace. Two co-travelers having fun and that innocence which life has raided from them shining through. When Aahil was swinging Sanam in his arms and when Rehaan was swinging Sehar in her arms - you could see the difference - a man and a woman in love juxtaposed with a boy and a girl who have perhaps just begun.
They are definitely not lovers - but they are forming a relationship that will not allow them to leave each-other. Rehaan may get furious with Sehar tomorrow . Sehar maybe forced to leave Rehaan... but if Sehar was to fall in trouble, Rehaan would come from anywhere to save her.
Its a strange relationship with undercurrents of something very strong. And i think its beautiful and very real-life -like. You are traveling on a road. You cross someone and that person walks off the street and straight into your life.
Special mention to Surbhi Jyoti. I actually felt TWO DIFFERENT WOMEN were romancing Karanveer and Shehzaad. FABULOUS!
