Twisted Case of Manik Sinister Malhotra! Inputs needed!

Help me get this theory! Theory of twisted case of Manik Malhotra! 🤔
I am a big fan! And I do love dissecting him and try get him! But today, I am little confused about this sinister Malhotra! From where I see him, he did progress. As he didn't do circles till now! He does get back to monster version but with variations! This time he declared to go sinister and precap showed it too. Now I am just exercising my tiny brain about it! 😆
What triggered Mr. Malhotra???😔
Was it reality check?? Was it Nandu giving that reality check?? Was it about not getting fruit on being a bit considerate?? Was it plain no logic??😳

Reality check

He got much needed reality check about his conduct. He is sadistic! he does get joy in troubling others. But that was conveyed I guess! umm! To him! YES! It is! So what the hell pricked him??? He is a bully. It's the moto of Fab 5! Leader accepts that too! He tortured Nandini and he did it deliberately! He knew about it! He enjoyed it! I don't think so reality check about it would trigger him? His buddies do things on their own! He knows it sometimes, sometimes not! So big deal if Alya did something!??

Now that's a big punch on ego! How dare she?? She might be the receiving party of all the deal but she never ever confronted him. She did yesterday and we see a sinister Manik back! But then, he listened to her bitter but true words! He heard them, went out and saved Fab 5! He kept aside his ego for Fab 5! Why the hell he would take the lesson and shoot the teacher??😆 He literally is on the mission to shoot the teacher after acting on teacher's lesson! Answer can be, umm! He didn't introspect! Again confusing! Leave the table!😆

Not getting fruit on being considerate!

After all, what he got?? Nothing! He was being considerate for Poor Nandu! He tried warning her, tried being concerned and bit soft! He hadn't expected that harsh treatment from Nandu! Out of all, he didn't expect Nandini to tell him all this. Alya did bad to Nandu, Nandu should be mad at her but she blasted him! How dare she??? I am not saying this but Manik could be thinking this!
What's the point in being good then?? *That was harsh on him*
But again Manik was hurt because of Alya and Dhruv concealing the truth! Nandu kidhar se aayi equation me?? This table is messy!😆

Hiding from everyone

He wants to conceal his real feelings! But no one has questioned him recently. And he doesn't question himself much! he runs from it! Manik doesn't think that much! He acts! He won't make a plan to act! He just acts! So...???😕

No logic at all!

Getting back to sinister self! It's full of arrogance, People fear you! Nandini used to fear! She will again! Or else, I don't know! It's just convenient!

Manik said to Dhruv that People change! He got layered for Fab 5 and cut open for Nandini! He camouflaged himself for world and remain the same for Nandini! He retrenched himself from fab 5 and even from Dhruv but decided to remain same for Nandini! Sinister, monster and obsessed! Subtle him, was more of occupied him! Sinister him, is more of idle him! He turned down every freaking issue but take on this one, called Nandini!

Above all is my shitty, messy mind! Credit goes to Manik M.! But question remains same, what triggered Manik??? 😆

He is messed up because he is being given a reality check about himself, fab5 and his bond with his friends. There is hurt and there is realization that most of it is caused by himself ( thanks to nandu). it's his nature to revery back and go his familiar position of being a Monster while dealing with something life-shattering. He is not ready to accept the changes especially towards Nandini . hence he needs to revert back to the Monster Manik mode and let her run away from him but the irony is the desire of being close to her and her pull in general is too much for him. This is his battle .

With others, fab5 and Dhruv, he understand the changes but his want and need to keep the fab5 intact is unquestionable hence the acceptance. Yet him keeping the break-up a pretense is him coping mechanism . He is just scared of change , so even though he acknowledges the change , he just doesn't trust them .

He thinks the change named Nandini would destroy everything his calm, his facade and his friendships. this fear is pushing him to revert back while the pull towards her is gaining strength ,

Phew, now my head is messed. 😆

I think its because of his frustrations on his growing feelings towards Nandu. When Harshad taunted Manik about being her hero, Manik couldnt handle it. He was kinda disappointed with himself that he helped Nandini, the one person who he hates soo much. Later when Harshad again taunted them because of the band performance, Manik was again frustrated. So I guess its all about he likes to be the villian, he is not a good guy and doesnt want to be, specially not to Nandu. And so he is back to being the bully he used to be.

But ofcourse he is gonna fail badly. The precap says it all ;)

We can probably say that nothing that happened triggered him to that extent as it did when Nandini hit spot on his basic characteristic trait. He always have been a person to hide his good side behind the curtain and of course, he couldn't afford to have Nandini or for that matter anyone know of that side so he re-treated back.

Difference this time being that there is a big crack in his shell. The human Maanik keeps on playing Peek-a-Boo through that shell. Evidence to it can be the recent precap where he goes pale seeing Nandini shedding blood due to his prank.

Summing it up we can safely assume that neither the betrayel nor the reality check hit Maanik. What hit him hard to succumb back was the fact that apart from Dhrun someone else, sor should I say Nandini, was starting to see through him. She got the idea of his flawed self and also she has the power to control him when he is human while it is Monster Maanik who controls her.

I think it is because this is how Manik is THE LEAST VULNERABLE. This is the Manik who everyone fears, gets scared of. This is the Manik he has been showing to everyone and this is the Manik who keeps everyone on their toes. Nandini is the first one after Dhruv to have seen beyond that rude behaviour & fearsome mask he adorns very proudly.

This is the WAY he keeps his feelings to himself because this is the way HE LIKES IT.

Him having been a little lenient changed Nadini's behaviour towards him. Remember the way she was when she entered the college. She stated to understand, rip that cloak off him and unmask the REAL vulnerable-sometimes, scared-of-dark Manik...who exactly wasn't a MONSTER.

He doesn't want this to happen...to anyone to understand him more than he himself does. (I doubt if he understand himself either.😆)

And thus, the SINISTER Manik is back...with a bang. He will flow with the feelings once in a blue moon, not all time would he be able to control his urge to make sure that she is fine, he would forget to shout at her at times, would be tender towards her sometimes because now he is not exactly able to CONTROL the FLOW of his own feelings when she is around but would ONCE AGAIN mask himself and be the MONSTER Manik because that is the way he feels Safe.
