ok so the whole mission is soo secretive, we the audience has only seen a few glimpses what could be happening- so here is my guess:

Akash seems to be a part of a government intelligence service and he has been sent undercover into Indie Airlines to investigate a major plot against the nation or something, all we know is that the INdie airlines is doing shady business, and somehow Mahima is connected to it because last week we saw someone come to her room lookiing for something which happened to be a red book, I am assuming that it has details of all the people and plan or something. Mahima was in trouble last week as she came to Ananya for help but left without any explanation. So now that she will be found dead, it deepens the mystery as to who is behind this and what exactly is the plan that Akash is trying to uncover
