HC is a fine looking man and in general people try to make the lead of their show look better than they really are by dressing them well and grooming them at least in the initial few weeks of the show (unless the role demands otherwise)

But out here its a different story altogether. Harshad is made to look like an unkempt ungroomed man (that too owner of a fashion house). Generally Gul's hero start looking like this after a few months into the show for various reasons.

Is she trying to ensure the viewers don't face heartbreak after a few months and are used to a not so good looking lead from the start coz I can't think of any other reason to make HC look so

He doesn't look good IMO

Badly needs a haircut and some grooming

I feel CVs decided to give this new appearance to erase his previous images.

not happy with this too much messy hair. I'm fond of his silky flying hair.

At first, I hated his look. But after some of the recent pics from promotions and the promos, I think he looks ok. But he would look so much better without the heavy beard and long hair, I will always prefer him without all this.

yeah but then again, for certain characters actors do need to get out of their usual good looks.. to be honest beauty is in the eyes of beholder, Harshad or any other actor in his place would definitely try to experiment with the looks .. he is 31 years old, and not the 25 year old Harshad to repeat the same look.

HC offscreen obviously is a different person from what he plays onscreen
