Haven't watched her new movie (will watch it when its shown on tv). But I sooo knew that she was gona be the main put off in the movie and judging by the reviews on her acting I was right not many where impressed with her over the top embarrassing acting. I think its time that her family stops making movies for her they just show case her talent in a bad light. And the worst part is that she isn't a bad actor bt they just dnt make good movies for her. Any idiot could clearly see just from the promo's that she was acting way ott and her acting needed to be controlled. Even cringe worthy isn't enough to describe her expressions and dnt knw hw they could let the girl embarrass herself with such expressions. Bt than only family could think that acting was adorable and that's the problem here they see her in a certain light only which isn't good. She was good in movies like bhaag milka bhaag, the movie with dhanush she should do more films like that and not films where she is shown like an idiot. Happy that her next is with salman and hopefully her doli film isn't bad. Bt sooo happy fawad the hottie is getting good reviews

I disagree..the films her father and sister have been producing for her have been really interesting. I loved her in Aisha and the film was awesome. I have watched it many times. Khoobsurat also looks great.

I don't understand why ppl have a problem if her father produces her films? I understand your point but some just use the fact that her father produces some of her films to put her down. Not her probelm that other actresses don't have Anil Kapoor as a father. If you have great resource...why not use it?

No I like the kind of movies they are making. Their target audience is young girls and they are doing great! Most BW films especially rom coms are made from the male point of view...these films tell the story from the girls POV. So no. And she got great reviews. You are reading the few who cannot look beyond Sonam's clothes.

Ive seen aisha and I thought it was so so

Ive seen Khoobsurat and it's actually a super sweet movie

Khoobsurat > Aisha

She has done only 2 films by her family and those films haven't harmed her at all. They have been made nicely and been promoted like any other big film. Sonam tries hard but her acting talent is quite limited even though she is improving no doubt. She keeps saying she is really good looking but the way her beauty translates in magazines and regular photos is not the way she looks on the big screen...for example rani mukerjee looks better on the big screen than in regular pics n stuff. Sonam looks pretty/sometimes even average in movies. She doesn't have a great screen presence e.g. like deepika/ anushka/aalia etc...you either have that movie magic or you don't...unfortunately she doesn't! and her of screen personality doesn't help either...so anyway sonam has a long way to go and she shud keep working hard😃

Is anyone forced to watch Sonam's movies at gun point? People always have option of not watching a movie if they don't want to... There are lot of people like me who have enjoyed Aisha an Khoobsurat, so no they shouldn't stop making movies with her...

Eagerly wait for Battle For Bittora.😉

Esp since I love her back since Raanjhanaa. I used to hate Sonam in saawariya, actually i'm a Rani M fan so i'm so pissed of with Saawariya maybe because the ending and setting is not worth with my patience on watching it. Then I watched IHLS and really hates her as her character is quite dumb to be honest. Then came AISHA. I watched it with 0 expectation too and really like the movie. The youthful feeling on that movie. Story is complex and having roller coaster journey than Khoobsurat. I never thought will start to love 'missfit' sonam due to the AISHA. To add the salt on the wound, I stop from watching any bolly movies for a few years until last year. I watched review of Raanjhanaa without my intention. I gave it a try as the pair is quite fresh, new hero in bolly and the review said sonam's best performance and OMG, I really like it. The story kept my interest till the end as usually in bolly, heroine will eventually fall in love with hero, or hero will come back alive from any fatality. But Zoya, till the last breath of Kundan behaved as grey as her be..Love Khoobsurat for entertaining value only and due to the grey JNU activist I can't wait for BATTLE FOR BITTORA.

No ways, I love the movies they are making. Way better than Krish series RR makes for our Indian Voldemort. So nahhh, I need my dose of chick lits amongst the mindless comedies and masala flicks...
