Finally a breakthrough from today's episode... This was my Eureka! moment..while watching the scene in the balcony ... here's my explanation:

I would have liked it...had Raman not used 'Shagun is the mother of my children' sentence. Since the beginning of the serial, one thing has been established that Shagun is self-serving...She cares about her children only when it works for her...today also her whole reason of wanting Mihir back in her life was because she wants to get married to Ashok. So to indulge her whims is again opening the door for disaster to happen. If Raman had just made it about Mihir and mending his relationship with his family, I would have loved the scene...that sentence just killed the scene for me. He could have just emphasized on the fact that he has moved on, is happy and it's about time Mihir do that too. The shagun as mother clause killed it for me.

In my opinion I think the entire episode was good and not too dramatic but some good realistic conversations between Mihir -Shagun, Ishita-Mihir, Raman-Iyers, last but not the least Raman-Mihir. I do agree with you that Shagun is self centeric , but that doesn't take away the fact that she is the birth mother of his kids. She definitely doesnt ACT like a mother but that doesn't take way the fact she is the mother of Adi and Ruhi. And the way I viewed Raman's mention of that line more in the lines of he would never want anyone to call his kids birth mother by any names because that would hurt his kids. I don't think he meant it in a way that Ishita is not one.

My disappointment was with regards to Raman making it about forgiveness because Shagun is his kids' biological mother.. I never said he meant anything about ishita not being one. My frustration lay in the fact that, his stress should have been more about him being happy and moved on... Rather than that + he did not want Shagun to be called names... The plus part is my irritation...

but that is the unfortunate truth, is it not? Ishita is ruhi's mother but it is shagun who gave birth to her and that is what society thinks as well.

Mahaanta is contagious, I agree. Frustrating how opinions with regards to Shagun change every other episode. I do foresee Shagun causing a lot of disruption to everyone's lives, too much forgiveness for a women like Shagun is dangerous.

Precap is ..but it will be only Raman at his teasing best, fine with me, however I will be disappointed if Raman and ishita don't talk serously on what happened, ending of most tracks leaves you wanting more than what is shown🤢

Yes .. But that should not be the reason for Mihir to forgive her... The reason should have been for mihir to forgive his sister as Raman has moved on and is not hurting anymore. Mihir, whose reason was solely how Shagun hurt Raman, can move on too

When he said mother of his children he was not sidelining Ishita. He meant to say that Shagun had given birth to his kids. Its a fact that cannot be changed.
He and Mihir prays and states they dont watch HIS daughter RUHI to be like SHAGUN!

Balcony scene was a much required one ...knocking sense into Mihir to look at things differently.
For a gentleman that Raman is, he probably will always want something good for the woman he had once loved so much and is the mother of his children.
I dont know maybe thats how one feels in such situations, I know people move on but then thats what differentiates the good from the bad.

He did mention that as long as that woman in insecure she will continue to create havoc, which is again so true, knowing Shagun.

Preacp would be a damp squib for dreamers. 😃
