Young actor Varun Dhawan to play the lead role in Karan Johar's hindi remake of The John Greene love story, The Fault In Our Stars'.
Karan Johar has bought the rights of the film. The rumours have been rife about who would play the lead roles of the romantic Augusts Waters' and Hazel Grace'. It's no surprise KJo has finalized his Student of the Year' Varun Dhawan to play Augusts'.
A close source to an ace director/producer said, "Varun has a distinct sense of humour that was required for the role. He has been finalized for the male lead but the female lead is yet not decided".
It won't come to a surprise, if Karan Johar picks Alia Bhatt in the female lead, as both the actors shared a crackling chemistry in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' and registered good numbers at the Box Office too.
Reportedly, Finding Fanny' director Homi Adajania has been roped in to direct the remake of Hollywood blockbuster movie.
