Kids become weakness for parents

Kids emotionally blackmail parents and thus the couple have to stay together inspite of infidelity and bitterness.

I felt bad for Kushan as he is stuck up with Lavanya because of kids.

Lavanya lost her little entertainment.

If Amrita comes to know about Prateik's affair, what will be her reaction? Will she also compromise because of kids?

i don't think so that amrita will stay with prateek after knowing about his affair... and most important as we all know that trisha also have a knwledge abut prateek and neha relationship. so i think that the mother daughter duo wil not forgive him

immature kids like meghan are bound to engage in emotional blackmail against their parents just for their own selfish needs on the other hand parents have that duty and shouldnt let it out of control in the 1st place

The parents appear to love them but they don't cherish them, tend to them properly, they rear them in luxury and u wonder if they imparted much values in them for the way they turned out.
They all seem spoiled.
Lavanya spent too much time 'working' to realize the negativity brewing in the walls of her house. Sonali seems self preoccupied in her own matters while Gaurav seems estranged from his own son.
Maybe the kids needed more attention from their parents
However they arent children that theycant assume responsibility themselves. I think the overt wealth is affecting their ability to bond, too consumed in their own activities to care about deepening relationships. Too used to extravagance and convenience.

And to add to your point, Prateek n amrita were too easyoin n lavished too much on Trisha, not enough discipline, Trisha seems far from perfect, she wasn't a good student causing havoc for the teacher, nor a good cousin by being spiteful to Megan and indulging in incest wth Vivaan, and what not.
Granted these teens are in the throes of vanity, but all of them seem obnoxious
