Alya is definitely haunted by what she did, the fear of being exposed doesn't leave her. Dhruv is a sweetheart, he would never be the one to tell Manik that Alya was behind the goon incident but his advice is genuine; honesty would help her. If she sits down with Manik and properly word her side of the story, the damage would be far less than if she keeps the matter hidden and Manik finds it out from someone else. The repeated bringing up of the incident means that the matter is not forgotten. It's gonna come out in a full fledged manner someday and the consequences gonna be nasty.
Manik and Nandini care about their mutual friend Dhruv, hence their lies that all's well in MaNan land. While it was clear that all is not well but a little lie like that doesn't hurt. Or so they think...abhi ke liye they are hell bent on keeping their equation a secret from Dhruv as to not hurt or worry him. Why do I get the feeling that they will keep on keeping it a secret, long after things would change super drastically for them? Their relationship might just become a ticking time bomb the longer they keep it's real nature hidden from Dhruv and it might just explode at the most unexpected of times. Interesting...very much so.
Nandini you are smart. Cabir you are hilarious. The musical act was wonderful. I would've loved to see NAVYA sing for once specially cuz being a rockstar is her dream more than anyone else's. But we've never seen her actually perform which sucks. The song looked more like a duet of Manik and Dhruv than anything else 😆 Khair, it showed us yet another example just how in sync MaNan are when it comes to singing. They compliment each other well, they'd never accept it.
Harshad didn't let even this moment slide and sparked a fire again. And I got thinking, either Nandini should openly confront him and tell him not to drag her in his personal war with Manik or Harshad should ask for Nandini's permission to use her for his gains. The latter seems like an amazing plot for an angst OS so don't be surprised if I ended up writing on it.
For a second I was worried that MaNan are back to square one. Phew, the square was different. Manik wasn't as harsh and Nandini wasn't the least bit scared. She was direct and just confused at his changing temperaments. It was obvious that Manik's anger was due to Harshad's words and his accusation seemed half baked. Really, accusing her of wanting to create troubles between Manik and Fab5 just because she sang? It was good the way she ignored it and said her side of the story. What is she to make out of Manik? Just when she thinks he isn't bad, he comes up with something like this and hurts her again. What does he actually want, to hurt her or to save her? She just wants answers because she is getting real tired of him now. If only Manik had the answers...he's in a more dazed state than her. Special mention to Manik not holding her too tightly and letting go sensing her discomfort. Well, he held her again as well but Monster Manik is weird that way.
Aaah...yes. Proximity went back than the locked room and Manik acknowledged it. The guy can't stop thinking about his feelings when he comes in too close contact with Nandini. Whereas Nandini (GOD! Niti is such a doll! She looked so heavenly with her open hair...petition to change her hairstyle please!) is back to thinking about her fireflies who glowed for the mysterious stranger. It's amazing to see her actually thinking about the prospect that the guy could be Manik. The conflict is clear in her mind. Of course, abhi she is adamant on doing nothing but hating Manik but aakhir dil hai, sab ais dil ki mushkil hai. The recent encounters don't allow her to completely write Manik off.
Yes! Agitated Manik was not Budhu Manik. He so surely said that it just can't be Nandini. He knows that the girl can be anything, a pain, a mess, a trouble; but she isn't that big of a mastermind to consciously want to break something. Her war is with him only, if there is one. She never concerned herself with Fab5 so the assumption that she would want to create troubles for the whole group just doesn't make sense. Which leaves only one guy - Harshad. I love it how spot on Manik is about Harshad that he's the one creating all the troubles. It's not a guess or idea for him, it's a fact. And now he's finally ready to play his game. This time things won't go the way Harshad wants. Makes me curious to know what happened the last time.
Fab5 are back in game and this time their target is "old but in new packaging". It's Harshad. Manik, the leader of Fab5, is officially back. Ab the game gonna be on equal grounds, with both sides participating equally. No sneak attacks, no indirect shots; all out game with everything out in the open. Yes, Fab5 are back and it's wonderful to see them doing what they do the best - be in charge. Because ab there's no helpless victim and a crazy show of power. It's a game and a challenge and may the best man win.
