Never in his life Ram felt that he was handsome. Standing in front of the large mirror, he was admiring himself in the white suit which fitted perfectly on him, making him look like a charming prince. "I look good indeed" he said looking at the handsome man in the mirror "nice selection lady love" he added. Ram never liked when people complimented him. but when Priya said that he looked good in black and white suits, for a second he had thought to discard all the clothes from his wardrobe and stuff them with all brands of black and white suits, later he gave up the idea as his granny would worry that her son has gone crazy. His face looked relaxed and his heart was dancing to an unknown rhythm. He took his phone and typed a message to Priya. Then taking a last look at the mirror he grabbed his laptop bag "how I wish, she was here everyday to send me off, with her sweet smile, a warm hug, and a passionate kisss" he thought. he knew he was acting like a complete jerk, but he loved the changes that were taking place. It made him happy. He took his granny's blessing and left to his car. It was an ordinary day. The morning had already turned beautiful so it was an extra-ordinary day for him. he never expected her to call him in the morning. But she did. Hearing her voice made him cheerful and kept his mind calm. He felt all the Lords were his side for making her ring up to him. But it was rightly said that "humans are never satisfied". His small piece of mind was disappointed that he couldn't see her.

he walked to his car with a smile. "something unusual" his car thought seeing its master. Ram got into his car and started his way to the new office. It was nearly a year Ram had been to his office in India. He visited India just to spend little time with Kate. This time he felt everything was destiny. Destiny that made him take the decision to stay in India for a few months, destiny that made him meet her.he felt everything was planned by God. He smiled to himself thinking how much he believed in destiny all of a sudden.

He felt different, he didn't like walking into an office of people he didn't know at all. He was really glad he had Amir with him. Amir his assistant, the only one who dared to talk to Ram in his office. Every staff in his office would tremble seeing their boss, but everyone wished to work under the Ram Kapoor. The perfect business man who can make profits from anything. Business was one thing which kept Ram happy from his bored life. he loved his work. As Ram's mind filled with his office work, he took a deep breath and turned the stereo on.

Ram smiled catching the meaning of the song. All the things that was running in his mind few minutes back vanished. She occupied his mind pushing his business and other things away. He wanted so badly to see her. he was about to take a turn and go to the hospital when his phone rang. Checking the caller, he parked his car aside remembering Kate's orders. "sir, everything is ready here sir, I have arrived" Amir's voice came bringing Ram back to the reality. "yes Amir, I am on my way, I will reach in a few minutes" Ram told him and cut the call. he sighed, giving up the idea to meet her he drove to his office.

The large gates were opened by two guards who were dressed in their white uniforms. Ram drove his car into the company. Though it was a year he felt good coming to the place. As he halted, he saw Amir walking to receive him. Amir a tall, fair good-looking man in his late twenties. He was only one Ram trusted and entrusted all works. Amir knew his boss like a reader knows about his favourite novel. As Ram got down "good morning Sir, how was your stay in India?" Amir asked with a smile. "morning Amir, yeah been enjoying till now, and really glad that you are here, shall we go" Ram smiled back and walked in front of him. Amir felt a little difference in his boss behaviour. First, he had never seen his boss smile in office at all. Second it was very rare that he had seen his boss behave so formally. Maybe back in India made him so, Amir thought as he walked behind Ram. The staffs were gathered to invite their boss. Few of them greeted him with bouquets, Ram politely collected and greeted all, then passed it to Amir. Amir opened Ram's cabin for him.

Taking a look at his cabin, Ram realized how well Amir understood him. Ram didn't remember how the cabin looked the last time he came, but now it looked the same as his cabin abroad. It was luxurious, fully painted in white, with some paintings he loved, hanging in the walls, just the way he wanted. he turned to see Amir who was looking tensed "Is anything wrong?" Ram asked him. "no sir" he said "thanks Amir, the cabin is perfect" Ram told him "sir, I am happy you liked, I was worried you wouldn't" amir replied. Ram laughed "now I get why you are tensed" Ram teased. Amir smiled "nice suit sir" he said. "really?" Ram asked. Amir looked at him confused "ha, yes sir" he said. "thankyou now shall we see to some work" Ram asked. Amir nodded and took a leave. Ram settled himself in his chair. Taking his laptop he started to check his mails forcing his mind to concentrate on his work.

"Priya" Kate was screaming her name from the living room. "Yes" Priya yelled back at her. "Priya, aren't you ready yet, I have your food" Kate shouted back. Priya was cursing herself. She had slept like a dead. She had to be in hospital by 1 and it was 12 now. Hurriedly she dried up hair and tied it into a ponytail. Grabbing her bag and phone she left her room. She heard the doorbell ring. "coming" she heard Kate sing. Priya peeped from the dining to catch the person who had come. She stopped her work for a second as she saw Ram give Kate a hug. Seeing Priya's head peeping he gave her a wave. She waved back at him. she felt pleased with her choice of the white suit, it was perfect in him. "hey your not working today?" he asked her casually, but keenly observing that she was wearing a red top with black jean, her hair slightly wet, and her face tensed yet she looked beautiful, beautiful enough to drive him insane. "leaving in a moment" Priya told him and ran to her room to get her keys. "Priya, your keys are here" Kate shouted. "wooh, guess I came in the wrong time" Ram said. "just sit Ram, she slept in the morning, and she is hurrying now" Kate told him "Is she alright? I mean after yesterday night?" Ram asked Kate. "she is fine" Kate told him and left to the kitchen as Ram sat on the couch in the living room.

"Did I actually see her" Ram was thinking. He couldn't believe how he got lucky today. He was sure she would have gone to the hospital, but here she was, elegant as always, he wished he had time to talk to her but this was enough for him. Ram looked around, the house was clean as always, the cactus were arranged in one side. Suddenly the two girls came bursting from the dining. Kate was carrying a plate of food. "Priya, I am not leaving you until you have your food" Kate was telling her. "Please Kate, I am not hungry" Priya told her and was walking to the door. "Priya, you didn't have anything from morning" Kate told her. ignoring her Priya stuffed something into her bag and left to the door hurriedly and fell directly in his chest. His unique masculine scent was really inviting. she looked up, her way was completely blocked. Ram standing casually on the doorway, leaning on the side to rest his body. His one hand in his pocket and other resting on the wall. "have your food Priya" he told her. "god why he is standing like a runaway model" she thought. "Priya" Kate yelled in her ears "stop yelling I will go deaf, you two, I am getting late, now leave me" Priya told them. "you eat and your free to go, else you're the one running late" Ram told her "Ram please" Priya pleaded "sorry dear" Ram winked at Kate. Priya gave an annoyed look at both of them and took the plate from Kate. She sat on the couch and Kate sat beside her to check whether she ate full. Ram smiled seeing his love stuff food into her mouth hurriedly. She looked angelic in whatever she did. He walked to the dining to fill her a glass of water. He went and sat on the other side of her. she smelled great, her fragrance was maddening that his vision blurred out a second. Finding himself "patience Priya, you will choke the food then" he said. she saw him and smiled "sorry Ram, I forgot to thank you" "that's all right" he cut before she could finish. He offered her water as she finished her food. "Ok guys, see you both later" saying she gave Kate a hug, and looked hesitantly at Ram. Ram was already opening his arms for her, she smiled and gave him a light hug "take care Priya" he told her. she gave a light nod and left. Ram so badly wanted to go with her. "Ram" Kate called him. Keeping Priya away from his mind he turned to Kate. "hey Kate, finished works soon, so came up here" he told her. "I am glad you're here Ram, so how about lunch?" she asked. "shall we do it outside?" he asked. "Ok, no problem, give me fifteen minutes" she said and vanished inside her room. Ram walked around the living room.

As he went around the house, he noticed Priya's room. "enter at you risk" Was written on the door. He knew it was not manners to enter into someone's room. But this was his Priya. She was an exception. Smiling he opened the door and entered. Her fragrance filled his lungs making it difficult for him to breath. Her room was just like her. Warm, calm, light and sweet. It was painted in sky blue. A big bed in middle with a big blue quilt over it. Seeing some paintings hanging he thought that she liked painting to. There was a big clock just opposite to her bed. there was a collection of bags and slippers in her room all arranged neatly. A dressing table beside her bed, with all her accessories. The other side of her bed was a table with a glass and a jug. He walked to it and poured some water and drank it. he felt like it was honey. Just that thought she had drunk from it before made him happy. "Ram" he heard Kate call. gently closing the door, Ram came to the living room. Few minutes Kate joined him and they left to have their lunch.

Priya thanked God for making her reach in time. Reaching her cabin she checked her phone for messages. She felt sad, but happy to see Ram's message in the inbox. Smiling she opened it

"hey, just want to remind you about the dinner you promised, fix dates soon"

She checked her worktime for the week and typed a reply back to him.

As they drove to the restaurant, Kate was telling him about her work. Ram listened patiently. When he and Kate where together, his job was only listening to what his friend was speaking without a pause. But something in her, made him feel that she was little worried today. He sensed that what she was going to tell him was important. They reached the restaurant. Ram took his phone and smiled seeing a message from her.

"I am free day after tomorrow, so we will catch up for dinner. And nice suit Ram"

He felt like dancing. He thought she didn't notice him wearing the suit. "Ram are you ok?" Kate asked. he nodded and left Priya a quick message.

Both ordered their food. "so Ram how was your day? Hows the office?" she asked "loved it actually, Amir is awesome, he made my cabin the way I want, so I felt home being there" he said "I am glad you're here Ram, I really missed you" she said "well I missed my buddy too, but no more missing, ok now will you tell me what you want to tell me so badly?" he asked. kate nodded "Ram, actually, you know right, that I know you very well?" she asked. he gave a nod "yes I know Kate" he said. "Ram I know that you are developing feelings for Priya" she said. Ram smiled "I don't deny that, infact I was about to tell the same thing to you, I need you help" "Ram will you listen to me" Kate cut him. "Ok" Ram said. "Ram, before things go deeper, I think you should know everything about Priya, its important" Kate told him. "what are you talking about?" Ram asked. "Ram, I mean, there are things about Priya which you don't know, but you have to know, before your taking things seriously about her" she said. Ram felt confused, irritated "Kate, come straight, what are you trying to tell me?" he asked. "Ram, Priya has someone in her life" Kate told him. Ram stood up "what? I mean why didn't you tell me this before?" Ram shouted. The people in the restaurant turned to see them "Ram I wanted to tell you, now please listen to me please" Kate said holding him. Ram shrugged her hand off "I have to leave Kate, go home yourself" he said and left the restaurant. Kate went behind him "Ram you need to listen to the full things" "I don't want to listen to any shit your telling me, you both hid this from me right" saying he got into his car and ignited the engine. Without turning to see Kate he drove away.

Kate stood seeing his car vanish. Tears welled her eyes. she knew Ram so well, but she didn't know that he was so sensitive when it came to Priya. He didn't give her a chance to explain at all. "what will I tell Priya now" she thought and fought the tears that were flowing down her cheeks. Picking her phone she dialled a number. "Alex" she spoke. "Kate, baby is anything wrong" A voice came from the other end. "Alex, I messed it up, I need you here, please come" she cried "baby, relax, tell me what happened now" he said "Alex, I want you here please" she said "baby, just wipe you tears now please, its killing me hearing to weep, please for me" he begged. She wiped her tears and went into the restaurant and settled herself. "Baby, I love you" he said "I love you too" she whispered "now tell me whats wrong?" he asked.

Ram's car raced through the road. His eyes were red. Tears were starting to well up. "she has someone in her life" the words rang in his ear, it kept on ringing. He wanted to shut it off but he couldn't. he was fighting his tears very hard. He reached home and stormed to his room. Grabbing his case he picked a few clothes and put them in. washing his face, he tried to look normal. He went to his gran. "gran, I have to leave to Delhi on a work, will be here in two days, I am sorry" he said. his gran smiled "I will be fine Ram, you take care" she said. he faked a smile and turned to leave. "Ram is anything bothering you?" she asked. he turned to see his grans concerned face. "no gran, I am okay" he said. she gave a slight nod, she knew something was really wrong. As Ram left, the phone rang. His gran picked it up "Gran, its me Kate, where's Ram?" she asked "Kate, Ram looked worried, he said he is leaving to Delhi for some work" his gran told her. "gran, just do me a favour, find me the place where Ram is staying in Delhi please" she said.
