Today's episode I observed the contrast between the opposing parties in this custody battle. and compared it to the beginning of the case. This is what I found.
In the beginning of this case Paakhi felt like a woman lost , she was standing alone in a storm that threaten to take away the only reason she had left to live. Her son.
And like a wounded mother she lashed out at every one. especially the one she thought was the creator of her troubles Veer!
And while she was the restless one, the opposing side, was standing there calm and composed, throwing more debris at her hoping to knock her down and come out victorious! And for a moment they seemed to have succeeded , when she burst out she no longer wanted this man to represent her!!!
But in the blink of an eye the storm seemed to stop and change course. As she was removed from their presence, albeit forcefully and made to stop and think...where she was able to see that she was not the only one who had an upheaval in their lives, and some one else not only understands but feels her pain as well.
Now jump to day, the storm is still raging, only it left Anuja and Lavanya the restless one, while Paakhi walked out calm collected and with a smile on her face.
But more importantly are the reactions after the hearing. Anuja and Lavanya were busy plotting there next move, on how to feed the hatred Ria has for her father...they are busy denouncing that which they at one time admired in Pakkhi. Again thinking of ways to hurt them. Yes them, because now the beloved nephew (who is part Anuja's blood by the way) means nothing to her. When she should sympathize with him having herself been away from her kids for so long, she has no qualms about creating more distance between a father and daughter.)
Paakhi and Veer, were instead concerned over closing the gap between father and daughter , and were planning on welcoming what they know will be a very difficult girl into their midst. consoling each other in a way that only they could understand and through a simple handshake reached an understanding, that they are no longer alone but a family.
One that yes, when it settles expand to include Anuja and Lavanya if they decide to see the light.
