The Maurauders Map Theory

This is not my own theory it is one i came accross and that i thought was a good one:

Let me preface this by saying I don't think this will happen in book 7!

But, let's just say for arguments sake that Harry found relics and thought them to be Voldemort's horcruxes.

Could he bring them back to Hogwarts, open the Maurder's Map and since living soul would be in these relics, would they register on the map as Tom Riddle?

Fred and George had the map when the Diary was in Hogwarts in CoS, so we don't know how often they looked at the map and if they would have even noticed or cared about someone named Tom Riddle (as not many people ever knew he became the man known as Voldemort).

They were probably more interested in avoiding teachers and sneaking through the passages.

So that begs the question, if Harry was to bring a horcrux back to Hogwarts, would it register on the Maurder's Map?

I dont know why but I dont think so Tom Riddle's name will appear on horcruxes 😳

yeah, i agree wid manshi... i mean, they're not actually voldemort really, r dey?

^^ but would the map be able to register the horcruxes, i mean it picks up objects such as picture frames, statues etc. so do you think that it could maybe pick up a horcrux?? ^^

I dunt knoe. Afterall its a part of someone's soul not an object! 😳

Missy Intersting post & I think it will be something like room of requirement not shown on Map as noone knew about that room except handful....but for argument sake if we consider that map show all living souls only then that means that nearly headless nick & others will not be shown on map(I can't recall potter & group see ghosts on maps)..but voldy's soul in object is living so techincally speaking it should show until & unless there is heat & waves theory also involved to detect who is who on map....or sometheory like soul with body...so I think someone has to ping JKR and ask this question.

I like that theory n it is possible.
But, like I always say we will not know until the book comes out!!

gud theory 👏 👏 👏 but it wil show d object which has been turnd into a horucrux...suppose its slytherins ring...den i guess it would show jst a ring or sumthn....

cooooool one and i think it might happen though not sure if it would be appearing as Tom Riddle or Voldemort but it can certainly happen in Gof even Crunch was sceen on the map and obviously in POA petre was detected so maybe this time it does show voldie but i dont knw why wld harry actualy bring them to hogwarts he would rather destroy them far away from hogwarts

Good theory but I don't think that will happen...The people who made it aren't actually writing in it...But I guess you have a point 😊 Didn't I hear that Riddles diary was a horcrux? 😕
