Having said that i am one of those who do not think Durga's marriage to some one ( Dev or anyone else) is necessary for the story. But since Durga herself is hell bent on entering the Goenka mansion, it better be being Dev's bride than dangerous Shaurya's.

If Shaurya is faking it then he will not allow anyone to switch grooms.

If Sakshi is smarter and more cunning than Shaurya, she could make the switch. Looks like she is more resolved not to let Durga Shaurya marriage happen.

I hope he is not faking it though I have doubts. He could have faked it dey because he knows Durga cares for all the downtrodden. He had read it quite well about her.
