Chapter 1

"Nakul Nakul..?" Mrs. Khuraana stormed in KM...calling the house keeping head Nakul

Nakul a man with average height...in his thirties...dressed in black steward's dress ..rushed toward living area..."Ji Daddi Maa..." these three words came out from the mouth of this man's emotionless face...

Mrs. Khuraana turned around he was behind her..." Maan uthey k nahi...?" She questioned...

"Daddi Maa...hav a look at my face...aapko patta chal jaaega...he got up or not..." Placing his hand over injured forehead he answered...

" I want straight forward answer...and what is this...? "Irritated she said " Maan ne fir kuch kiya..." His wound got her attention at last...

"Ji Daddi Maa..only he does everything... kya kya nahi karte Maan baba .. logon ki help...late nite parties...apko preshaan aur hamari dhulaaee..." He almost cried out his hidden grief...

"What he did today...?" She steamed up...

"Actually Daddi Maa I came acidentlly in between Maan baba's jutta and Deepak...When u called from office to wake him up...I sent Deepak to do this job...per jab Deepak after 15 minutes bhi nahi aaya...I went behind him ...Poor Deepak was calling again n again Maan Baba in his shivering voice which irritated him and he threw his shoe at Deepak ...Deepak bent down but I was behind him that hit me here...as I m not that much tall so ..." He narrated his whole tragic experience..

"Hey bhagwaan ...Maan has crossed his all limits...now tell me he is awake or still in bed..." Fuming Daddi asked...

" Ji when I screamed out in pain...he got up and without saying any thing straight way went to the washroom.Still he is there from last half n hour ... " he said in low tone...

"Oh it means he gonna take around one hour more...Nakul just look after your injury with care..If u want day off ...go for it... Per haa ek kaam kar do pehle hamara..."ashamed of her son's acts Mrs .Kuraana said politely...

"No no Daddi Maa its okey...maine pain killer le hai...I gonna be fine...and tell what to do.." He denied to take off and was present in her service even in pain...

"Make a call to Kamal ji...its urgent...becoz he is going to look after Maan's every day needs.." She had much determination in her voice...

"What Daddi Maa !!...u mean Kamal Sir Ji...Care taker of our Hoshiarpur Bungalow and Farmhouse...You are sending Maan baba there..."Confused Nakul had no idea that what Daddi was upto...

"Yes ...But to Hoshiarpur..instead to our ancestral village Tejpur which is also in Hoshiarpur district ...and Mr.Kamal also looks after our old home in the village.." she cleared air...

"But why Daddi Maa...and R u also accompanying him...or any one among us..." he scratched his hair...Mrs. Khuraana judged that Nakul was much scared to be with Maan alone...

" Nahi Nakul no one is going with him..and now don waste time do it fast..." She laughed aloud...

Nakul dialed on Kamal Ji's mobile and even he was amazed why she took this step !!...She instructed what to do...How to arrange things over there for Maan ...He assured her to do best and she cut phone in hurry as Maan could be there at any moment downstairs...

As she put phone down she found...Maan standing behind her crossing his both arms on chest...He had very choosy smile...which spread on his lips and his twinkling big broad eyes were enough to tell that he wasn't keeping any kidda tension with him..Whatever he does...Whatever his behavior was..But just once glimpse of him was enough for Daddi to forget all the sorrows of her life...

"Good Morning Daddi Maa "

" So hamare sahib-jaade uthe gaye...and also got ready ..whats plan for the day beta...kaha kaha jaana hai ? " Daddi teased him...as she was sure Maan hadn't heard the convo ..Otherwise he might had turn the house upside down..She kissed him on cheek...rolled hand over her handsome son's head...

"Bi-jjiii...again pulling my leg...what u mean ...Main awaara hu...nikaama ..hu.." He shrieked his brows...a put his Daddi's arms down from his shoulders ..Showing his anger...He usully use both words Biji and Daddi Maa for his grandmother but when got more emotional he use Biji...

"When I said such Maan...u r my whole world...U and Dev ...app dono k naam se hamari saans chalti hai...My sun rises and sets on u...beta.." Her eyes got wet...Which turned Maan more emotional..

"I know Biji , My intentions were not to hurt u...but why u punished me ?...putting restrictions on my money matters...My bank accounts..." He came close to her to make her understand his point

"Yes I did...but it has reason...which u don wanna to understand... talk charge of ur company...I m here to guide u if u want..a do whatever u want after that..." She gave him the ultimate solution...

" Yoy know... I told you I m not ready to handle all this at this point...I need more time ..." Stubborn to extreme Maan was on his terms...

" Theek hai . .. do what ever u want but don expect any help from me...no financial help from ur private accounts as well as from company accounts...Even if u have 51% shares but wo apko tabhi milegay jab aap KC ka in charge lenagy...so think about it.." She announced what was the first part of his plan...to bring him back on track...

" Daddi Maa...u r doing wrong...how can u do this with me..." He yelled...

" I can...Biji se Daddi Maa...okey...I m not ur Daddi Maa just ...but ur father ur mother ...ur guide ...ur friend every thing...so I have every rite..." Like both Mrs Khurana n Maan had decided not to drop weapons in front of each other...

He collapsed on couch behind him...Held his head in both hands...Mrs. Khuraana was just observing him silently ...Standing still by his side ...crossing both of her arms...Waiting for his response..

He did so...Raised his head up and looked at her with hope filled eyes.."Biji kuch ho nahi sakta...I mean if there is any mid way...coz I need time to overtake U..."...he made almost baby face...Which melted Savitri Devi and she set next to him .Grabbed is face in her hands." If u r ready I have a solution...but promise aap usko no nahi kahogay...done"

"But whats' solution...first tell me...let me think about that.."confused Maan asked...

"Solution is you have to go to Tajpur...and have to stay over there...You will teach students in the local school for one month..After one month Principal of the school will take test of students but assessment apki hogi...What the students learned in one month Principal Sir usse apko fail or pass kargay...If u will pass then I will give u some more time before joining KC plus will remove all restriction on ur finaces...Manjoor " Mrs Khuraana dropped a bomb shell on all not on Maan but housing staff too...Not just he but any other person had expected such kind of trick from her to handle this stubborn child...

"What " Maan jumped from couch..."This is not rite...not possible Daddi..."

" You hav no other option..." She smiled inwardly as she got a solution but some where she was much upset...

"Me Maan Singh Khuraana ...a US educated person will go to village to teach local school kids...Just to prove self... Isse acha main KC join kar lu..." Fuming Maan started to roam in the hall...

"No no Maan ..u promised me...u can not talk ur steps back ward...U r making mind to join KC becoz u don wanna go to village...but that decision is temporary...every one knows...When you will find out that Daddi k mind se wo baat skip ho gayi hai..aap fir se apni wahi routine shurru kar dogay...What will happen to KC thae coz at that time hum kaise handle karegay ...gain and again again...to leave to join...its not happening..." She was determined to send him to village...."The deal in between us is done now ...Think what to do...?"

"What to do...whai what planned to trap me...wahy karuga aab main...Just 30 days not more...Aur ha what about my daily needs ..." He made face.at last he lost in front of his grand mother...

"Don't worry baba..Daddi Maa ne sab preparations karva di hai... ." Nakul interrupted...

"Nakul much excited about my adventurous tour...let me be back...fir dekhna tum ...wait n watch..." He burst on Nakul showing him eyes...

"Baba wo to dekhey gay he.." Nakul slipped from the venue ...mumbling ... Maan was about to throw glass on him but controlled his temper...

So lets c what Maan gonna do ...How he will manage ...and adjust in a situation totally new for him ..Not willingly visited here...This gonna be more adventurous...more suspense to make this more interesting...
