That was a totally well written prologue. I mean sure it was just a glimpse of a story but even in just a few paragraphs you've left us with so many questions and mysteries.
I am guessing the character is Durga. It's kinda obvious. But your portrayal of her in this piece is just absolutely strong as woman. Plus the fact that you connected her with the Goddess Durga, who of course is a historical example of A Woman. It just exemplifies the effect of the story on the reader and it adds a certain depth to it.Plus Since you were referring to Durga. I recently finished a series of books called the Tiger's Curse series and it is technically based around the Goddess Durga. Plus the fact that you titled this the Rising Phoenix also is coincidental because in one of the books there are like a few chapter just dedicated to the Pheonix in these books. It's basically a part of the quest that these people are on...but yeah...these two things just clicked to me when I read the title and then the prologue. So that was a really nice touch.Coming to the emotions. It was...just...overwhelming almost to read about the way Durga dealt with her emotions. I mean you could feel that energy transfer to you and it was just...I don't even know what to say. It saddened me. But to be honest it left me feeling a great deal of remorse for her and well...as you send revenge is a dish best served cold. And there are after affects to it as well. The symbolism of the stained cloth was pretty significant in the piece as well. It was almost like a cover that helped her sheild herself in moments like this. Maybe it wouldn't do a great deal of help but it was like thing for comfort. I liked that too. When she finally let's go of all that she has been holding back it was like a barrier broke and everything flooded out. And I guess sometimes it's good for you to just let go of your emotions because it helps lessen the pain a little bit. not always but...you know sometimes. it's better than nothing. It was a beautifully start to the story. I seriously can't wait for the first chapter already. Please do Pm me. Pretty please! And continue soon😳

I really donno what to say but... thanks 🤗 I am humbled really 😳 This is one of the most insightful comments I have ever read n thanks a lot 😳 U have probably interpreted it better than I depicted it and I am glad that atleast one person has truly grasped the meaning behind the story. Its a big honor to any writer. And about Tiger series I hadn read it till now but placed an order for the books on amazon right away after reading ur comment 😉 I am betting it will be good. And about the phoenix the idea came from Harry Potter coz thats where I had read about them. I only knew they rose from their own ashes and I made use of the symbolism in my story bas 😳 Now I cant wait for my books to come n I will get started on Tiger series n thanks for mentioning it here.Of course I will PM u and I intend to post the 1st chap soon n hope u will like it too 😳Thanks for the lovely comment 🤗
