You can't hide wealth , with the fortune in Kalindi's name her past will be revealed to the world. That information could be used/perceived in various ways by the different Agnihotris !

Money is left for Kalandi's since Aastha did not exist in his time. Kalandi's will give the money to Aastha. But NA's truth will not be out until Aastha leaves

She mentioned being married but earlier I think she always spoke of her Saasu Bhai. Now by giving aname to her past and weaving that angle into the storyline they introduced a new character. Earlier Kalindi's ex was never considered withrespect to the story right ? We know Kirloskars have neighbours and that Agnihotris belong to a residential society but we would hardly term those neighbours and society members as characters right ?
