Is that so? I am glad that finally some of the arrogant doctors are being forced to display humility and treat patients as human beings!

I wonder how many doctors u have seen who dnt treat their patients as humans..and let me tell u one thing, for every arrogant doctor there is, there are 10 patients who treat the doctors as either their slaves or machines.. its possible u have had a bad experience with sum doctor but which profession does not have people who give it a bad name? Why single out doctors? Put in 10 years of education, poorer salary than their counterparts in other fields atleast till their 30s, duties of 24/7/365, accusations such as urs of arrogance, no respect, no personal life, being beaten up by relatives even for no fault of their own, inhuman working conditions in hospitals, etc etc, and then pass judgement on arrogance..
As if there is no corruption in other fields, as if doctors do not have to pay for their own livelihood, as if they are treated with even a little respect for their jobs..its easy to comment, very tough to live our lives..

Like Durga said , Shaurya doesn have the gut & courage to fight his own ground . He just knows how to mess things up , not how to set them back at place . Every single trouble he got into , his parents dragged him back to safe land . Be it freeing him from rape charge or saving him from Dev's attempt to murder case...his parents did the work for him . On his own he's a worthless stupid fool . If it wasn't for Saakshi & Rajnath , Shaurya would have landed in jail for raping Payal only & still would have been rotting there . But he's lucky his parents saved him . & NOW ! Now he has landed up in such trouble , from which he knows even his parents can't save him . He knows Goenkas' planning plotting not gonna cure him & thats what freaked him out so much 😆 He's just plain scared ! He's scared now that his parents can't pull their strings & save him , whats gonna happen to him . & darke mare kuch bhi bake ja raha hai 😆 I'm actually enjoying his antics now 😛.😆

I am sure there are occupational hazards to being a doctor- as is the case with all professions. But this is a choice that a person makes and so will need to find ways of coping with them rather than feeling sorry for oneself.

I am aware of these hazards as I am one myself.

My point was about some who behave like know-alls and god's gift to mankind and truly are patronising and dismissive of their patients. Trust me, I have seen many of those around! And that is why there is need for the consumer movement and all the measures you described in your post.

Anyway, Shaurya's outburst and Sakshi's demanding behaviour with the doctors need to be seen in the context of the distress they are going through at the moment. I wouldn't take it personally and would simply get on with what needs to be done just as the doctor did in the show.
