CID Written Update September 7, 2014

Ganesh Utasav Mein Apaharan III
I never thought I would say I wish I didn't have to watch this. After two cool shows (Airlines and Dare 2 Dance) I feel like crashing for watching CID, but CID is still an important part of my life for me and that's why I'm here.
Note: This episode continues from Friday and Saturday. Please read both WUs to understand this episode better.
The 2 goons search for Rohinita, but she manages to hide herself on top of the cupboard and avoids getting caught.
Later she meets ACP Pradyuman, Kavin, Nikhil, and Ajay and tells them that she heard the goons and the boss talking about a meeting in Metals Bar at 10 o'clock. Kavin thinks they are taking the kidnapped people somewhere. ACP Pradyuman says that we need to save the 100 people who were kidnapped. (Say what?!! Friday it was 90 and now 100? FW kum se kum ek episode se doosre episode tak toh aapne facts check kar liya karo. *face palm #1*) Rohinita says that she needs to go back and the 3 leave as Ajay tells her that he's waiting for her.
Abhijeet, Shreya, Divya, and Dushayant and Freddy in disguise are at Metals Bar. They go out as Abhijeet, Shreya, and Divya keep an eye on the proceedings through a camera. Dushayant serves 3 people and sees a gun on one and realizes that they are the people they have to keep an eye on. Dushayant purposely drops the drink on the guy with the gun and says "aap pant utaraye main abhi sukha deta hoon". (5 minute break kids. This WU writer needs a laughing break. 🤣) Then he fumbles around and puts a bug on the table. They go back in and hear the 3 talk about taking a consignment at 4 to PAI Airfield by truck. Abhijeet tells Freddy to watch the man.
On the only road leading to PAI Airfield, Dushayant, Abhijeet, Shreya, and Divya are waiting for the truck. A truck passes them after quite a while and they follow it. (Really? Is there only one truck on the roads at this time?!!) Dushayant cuts the truck off and they find 4 people in it. 3 of them are the men in the pub. (Err I thought Freddy was keeping an eye on the man from the pub?) The fourth man has a bomb strapped to him. There are only 2 minutes left on it. They find it connected to a heat sensor. Abhijeet gives his gun to Dushayant and pulls the bomb off the man. Dushayant tries to diffuse it but they fail. Abhijeet throws it into the air at the last second and it explodes without hurting any of them. (Why oh why must we have a bomb that is just about to explode and a CID officer decides to take the bomb along with him to save everyone and then at the last second remembers to throw it in the air to save himself/herself as well? FW please something new. I don't mind the bombs and CID officers being fearless, but these bombs are losing their surprise factor.) Shreya gets a call about a robbery on Sangwar Road and she reacts in the typical manner CID officers are supposed to react with a oh-I'm-so-surprised raised voice. (I'm surprised as well. Yeah so there's been a robbery. Do we need the officers to always react like it's a huge thing? Mumbai is like the size of Toronto and here there are robberies everyday. So I don't think it's something shocking in Mumbai either. I'm telling you. Every time I do a WU for a CID episode a spiteful side comes out in me.)
At the site of the robbery, an ambulance is standing there to show that it was something serious when the CID Qualis arrives. Abhijeet, Dushayant, Shreya, and Divya reach there as the guards are being taken away in the ambulance. One guard is absolutely fine to tell the team that the robbers robbed a bank van with lots of gold in it and one of the robbers had the unique ring on. Dushayant thinks that the gang purposely sent that bomb to get CID involved in that so that they could commit the robbery. (Please tell me that FW isn't so dumb as to forget that CID is now an army and not only that but there are probably at least 200, 300 police officers who could have saved the bank van not to mention CBI, RAW, and what not. *face palm #2*) Abhijeet wonders how they knew the route the bank van was taking. Dushayant suggests an inside man. Abhijeet says we need to talk to the security agency.
The 4 are now at the security agency. (FW I officially award you the Brightest Memory Award today. 4 scenes in a row with the same team! Too good! And for those who didn't get it I was being sarcastic. Very sarcastic.) The head is confused because their security is very tight. (Yeah that's what every security company says.) Abhijeet asks to check the van. They find a GPS system in the engine and are sure that someone knows a lot about technology and maybe was fitted where the van was made. (Sorry to go off track here but that van has an absolute vile design on the outside. It looks like someone's polka dot undergarment!) Abhijeet says we need to find out where the van was made and who sold it to the bank.
The duo are trying to handle a few family members. The family members are asking about their family members. Daya assures them and they leave as ACP Pradyuman comes in with Vicky and Ajay. Vicky says he isn't being able to contact Rohinita. Some reporters come in at this time with a packet that came for CID. They leave. (Okay now that is totally unbelievable. First no good reporter would just give a package over without checking it. And even if they did no good reporter would leave without some type of exclusive news in return for the package. *falm palm #3* And why would someone send a package addressed to CID to a news channel? I thought these were smart criminals. Then how did they make this mistake? Anyone got an answer? No one. That's okay class. These types of problems are hard for even this teacher to solve.) ACP Pradyuman plays the CD where the boss challenges CID in simple terms. He claims that he can't be caught so easily. He says that he found the traitor and shows Rohinita who he shoots in the head. Ajay yells out and then starts crying. Daya tries to calm him. ACP Pradyuman and Abhijeet also come over. (Okay here I say some very bad 60s type dialogues. To the criminal: Oh kutte, yeh CID hai, CID. Yeh tere ko dhoond kar tere ko ulta tang kar aise aise dande maaregi ke tu aapni nani ko yaad karega. Ah that felt good. Back to the case.)
On the road, Daya and Kavin make a vow not to leave the person who killed Rohinita. (Where are they going?) Kavin gets a call and says that they found about the company making the armoured trucks. (Well I take back my earlier comment about all calls being a Oh-I'm-so-surprised call. Kavin spoke normally, which is how it should be.) It is CT Group owned by PT Company, which is owned by Dhanraj. They make an impossible connection between Dhanraj, Anya, and the 100 people. (Sorry but I don't get how this connection arose which is why I use an impossible connection.)
At Dhanraj's office, Dhanraj is demanding the return of those people at any cost. He is about to get into the elevator, where he finds Daya, Kavin, Nikhil, Karan, and Ishita. He agrees that he had a hand in their kidnapping, but a gang took over. Daya asks about the gang. Dhanraj says that he doesn't know anything about them except that they wear a unique ring. (Again the ring. *face palm #4* Why does FW have to keep repeating this ring? We get it. The gang, once they get caught, are all going to be wearing a unique ring. I get it. She gets it. He gets it. We all get it!!!) Dhanraj agrees that they have Anya as well. Dhanraj says that he was doing a research on human brains and he needed a lot of people for it. He contacted a gang for it and in return he gave them information about the bank van. Suddenly Dhanraj falls and it turns out he is dead. The team now get on searching the office as Daya is questioning the employees. Kavin finds something weird in a pillar and calls Daya. Inside he finds 3 shelves. One has a laptop, the second has a gun, and the third has a white bag which turns out to contain money. (For these 3 things some man gets a pillar in his office turned into a cabinet? Why not waste that same amount of money and get a small safe instead? *face palm #5*) Kavin checks the laptop. They get to a folder which is asking for a password. (FW please stop fooling your audience. Nowadays very few people leave an open laptop. First you need to break the password to get into the laptop itself. Then only can you get to a folder! And especially when it comes to criminals! I feel like crying now! *face palm #6*) An IT specialist comes forward to solve the password. (Are you joking?!! Why would you give the laptop to someone not approved by CID?!! How do you know this guy isn't involved?!! *falm palm #7* At the rate I'm face palming myself, I'll have a big pakoda on my forehead tomorrow morning.) The man gets in. Kavin checks the file to find information on artificial intelligence. One employee says that this was Dhanraj's dream. Daya realizes that this is why he was kidnapping smart people. (I'm sorry to say this, but just because someone is at a high post or a post requiring intelligence it doesn't mean he is intelligent. My old family doctor had the IQ of a snail. I swear you had to spell things out for her to get her to tell you your problem and half the time she gave me medicines that made me even more sick.) They also find a blueprint which Daya thinks is of the location where the experiments were going on.
Daya, Kavin, Nikhil, Karan, and Ishita (I realized today that there are actually 2 different females. One has always been Divya and the other has always been Ishita! 🤣) reach the spot and see some people studying people's brain. They get in with their guns and stop everyone. They take the machines off the people's heads when suddenly there is firing. Kavin pulls out his gun to return fire, but Daya stops him and creeps forward. Daya comes around and catches all 3 men. One tries to escape, but Kavin catches him saying "naa jaane tum logon ko bhagne ka itna shock kyun hota hai". (Kavin dear we wonder the same thing. Why is it that every criminal needs to run, then needs to get caught by the CID officers, then needs to show ego, then needs to get slapped, then needs to cry, and then needs to reveal everything? Please change it up FW. Even the CID officers are starting to question this method now. 🤣) One man says that he was just told to take these people to Sindur Nagar.
Ajay is stopped somewhere blaming himself for not being a good brother and then we see a flashback of them from childhood celebrating Raksha Bandhan. (Why did we need to see that flashback? *face palm #8*) He gets a GPS signal of a bug that he had put in Rohinita's bag which had stopped working after her death. (How does a signal stop working after one's death? Is it heat activated? And if it is why was it in her bag?) He heads towards the signal. He reaches a home and creeps in where he finds 2 men packing some things. He shows himself and starts hitting the men for killing his sister. One gets shot from up above and it turns out to be Rohinita who shot the man. He goes forward to hug her, but she looks at him angrily. She says that she works for the organization. She tells him to leave if he wants to live. Ajay says to kill him and demands to know why she is doing this. She said she did it for him, his wife, and his to-be child and she was forced to continue because this gang can kill anyone. (How many times have we heard that now CIDians? Any count?) Rohinita points her gun at him.
Later Daya, Kavin, Nikhil, Karan, and Ishita reach the same site to find Ajay alive with the 2 men. Ajay reveals that Rohinita is alive and part of the gang. The 4 other officers spread out to check the house, while Daya checks the bodies. Kavin finds white clothes in a room and says that it means they changed the clothes of the kidnapped people and took them away. Daya finds a code, XZ 5403, in the small phone book he pulled from one man's pocket. (Once again the clues are placed quite conveniently.) They wonder what it means. Daya realizes that they probably need a bus or truck to take the people out of the city and tells Kavin to find the details of it from RTO.
Later, on the road, a bus with the same code is parked on the side. Daya, Kavin, Nikhil, Karan, and Ishita reach the bus. (Once again hats off to FW for repeating the same team in 3 continuous scenes! *sarcastic clapping*) They board it to find it empty except one person who has been shot in the chest and is still alive. Daya asks him what happened. He says he is the bus driver. He says that some people forced him into the bus and brought him here. He doesn't know where they want but they were talking about a viserajan. Daya deduces that because of Ganpatiji's viserjan the roads are not going to be easy for them to take so they'll take the waterway to get out of the city through a viserjan nearby. (Ah I thought FW had forgotten that this was a Ganesh Utsav special.)
There are several shots of Ganpatiji's viserjan shown (FW at least check your fake shots carefully once. Some are of bright daylight while others show the moon out. *face palm #9*) with the CID officers in proper Indian dresses going through nearby viserjans to find the people they are looking for. (I saw Daya, Abhijeet, Dushayant, Nikhil, and Purvi. Correct me if there were more.) The gang are taking the people along in one viserjan. The gang forces the people through a small alley. (One note for this entire scene. They had a proper bhajan playing in the background but it was for Krishnaji and not Ganpatiji. Still I'm glad that at least somewhere they still have proper bhajans.) Abhijeet and Nikhil spot one victim. Abhijeet calls Daya over. (The man has a really obvious fake head on. He isn't actually bald.) The man says that he managed to get away. They are taking all the people through the beach to another country. Nikhil picks the man up like he's a heroine of a daily show and he's the hero of the daily show (He actually did! Check it! 🤣), while Abhijeet and Daya run towards the beach.
In the morning, after the viserjan is over, the gang brings all the people towards the water. They are carrying knives in the era where people get scared of guns to keep all the people under check. Abhijeet, Daya, Dushayant, Purvi, and Ajay come rushing behind them. They stop the gang and one tries to attack Daya. Daya and Abhijeet start fist-fighting, while Dushayant, Purvi, and Ajay take the kidnapped people away. Meanwhile the viserjan is still on in both day and night shots. (Some cool fighting moves and a welcome change from the regular gunfights. But I don't get why they have to keep confusing between day and night. And not just in the viserjan shots. In the above shot where Nik does the hero work they showed it being night and now suddenly it's bright day.) Ajay finds Anya among the kidnapped people. Dushayant says that these people are getting really sick and Purvi calls 3 ambulances to Utan Beach. (FW I don't get your math. Waise toh 100 people were kidnapped, lekin yahan pe I see maybe 50, and you call only 3 ambulances? I thought each ambulance can take up to 2 people. That means you need 50 ambulances if there are actually 100 people or 25 ambulances if there are 50 people as I see it.) The fighting is still on as the duo knock out the people. Rohinita and the boss reach the site and are running away when Ajay sees and runs after them. (Why isn't one of the CID officers following? Anyone have an explanation for that? Because as far as I remember Ajay told Daya that Rohinita is with the gang which means she needs to be arrested. *face palm #10*) He catches Rohinita and Ajay tries to stop him, but the boss says Rohinita is going with him. The boss pulls out his gun and shoots Rohinita again. (Suddenly it's night again. Forget the face palm. Once I'm done this WU I'm finding a brick wall. I suddenly remembered something my high school math teacher started. He used to post a 8 x 11 paper with a big circle with the statement "Bang Head Here" in the middle of the circle all around the school. I need one of those papers right now. Anyways on to the confession now.) Now Daya and Abhijeet catch the boss who turns out to be Praveen, the IT expert. (Ha! Was I right or what?!! Boo ya! )
Praveen gets slapped by Daya on the beach and lands in the bureau. (Thank god he isn't crying.) He faces the trio, Dushayant, Nik, and Divya. He agrees that he is the leader. ACP Pradyuman asks how Dhanraj got involved. Dhanraj contacted them to kidnap smart people and in return they got information about the bank van. Abhijeet says but in return you poisoned Dhanraj. Praveen agrees to that as well and says that he wanted to know what Dhanraj wanted to do with the people. He joined Dhanraj's company and found out about his artificial intelligence project. He stole the project and took the kidnapped people under his wing to get more money. ACP Pradyuman delivers the final phansi dialogue. (Err...I think in this case this man would get life imprisonment at maximum. I believe he would only get hanged if he actually killed people himself and not through others. But okay. If FW wants to hang him so be it. *shrugs indifferently*)
He gets taken away and Ajay comes in to say that Rohinita is out of danger and will be better soon. He thanks the trio for saving his sister.
Later Daya is standing in his window thinking about what Shreya said about marrying Siddharth. He wonders what the reason is behind Shreya taking this decision and why Shreya isn't telling him the truth. He wonders who is putting pressure on her.
Freddy and ACP Pradyuman promote Hum Hain Naa. (A few weeks later they'll be promoting Humsafars. Ah I can just see Daya and Abhijeet discussing Harshad Chopda and Humsafars. 😳 Just because I probably won't watch the show it doesn't meant that I can't love Harshad Chopda for his role already. *faints*)
I have only a few things to say:
Just when you expect that they can't ruin a Ganpatiji special, they do this.
Why did I watch this? Oh yeah because I was doing the WU.
I'm scarred for life!!!
